Help Needed: Crafting the Perfect Fundraiser Invitation

In summary, to handle your situation of organizing a fundraiser for the local animal shelter, you could create a unified flyer with a clear and catchy headline, include all the important details and visuals, create an online event page, and use invitations for the kick-off show with a mention of the fundraising aspect. Don't forget to thank your supporters afterwards.

I know there is tons of great info on here but I can't seem to wrap my head around how to handle my situation.

My local animal shelter wants to do a fundraiser...the organizer has offered to do a kick off show at her house (date yet to be set) and she wants me to bring her flyers for both the board to read and review as well as advertise it.

Would you do three seperate things: A flyer for the board explaining the fundraiser, a flyer notifying the general public about the fundraiser and a third - type of invite?

The rush is that tomorrow is there Adoption day so there will be people to hit up about it but so little is finalized I just don't know what to do.

I have a good flyer about both of the first two but no real clue on how to handle the invitation for the actual kick off cooking show. Would you use regular invitations and make a note about the fundraising aspects?

Sorry this is long and rambling but I'm at an enpasse for ideas!

Thanks!

You could use regular invitations and indicate that it is a fundraiser for the animal shelter or make up your own as a flyer to e-mail and mail out. Personal preference.

First of all, congratulations on being part of a fundraiser for a great cause! Here are a few suggestions for handling your situation:1. Create a unified flyer: Instead of creating three separate flyers, consider creating one unified flyer that includes all the necessary information. This will make it easier for you to distribute and for people to understand the purpose of the event. You can include a section for the board to review and a section for the general public to read about the fundraiser.2. Use a clear and catchy headline: Your flyer should have a clear and catchy headline that will grab people's attention and make them want to attend the event. For example, "Join us for a fun and delicious cooking show to support our local animal shelter!"3. Include all the important details: Make sure to include all the important details such as the date, time, location, and cost of the event. You should also mention what the fundraiser is for and how the proceeds will be used to support the animal shelter.4. Use visuals: Visuals are a great way to grab people's attention and make your flyer more appealing. You can include pictures of cute animals or images related to cooking and food to make your flyer stand out.5. Create an online event page: In addition to a physical flyer, consider creating an online event page on social media platforms or event websites. This will make it easier for people to RSVP and share the event with their friends and family.6. Use invitations for the kick-off show: For the kick-off show, you can use regular invitations and mention the fundraising aspect in the event details. You can also include a line about the fundraiser in the invitation itself, such as "All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting our local animal shelter."7. Don't forget to thank your supporters: Finally, don't forget to thank your supporters for attending the event and supporting the cause. You can do this through a thank-you note or a follow-up email after the event.Good luck with your fundraiser and have fun!
