So I am really anxious to promote my steadily falling business and think that a Fall kick off sounds like a great idea...only I have never done it and have no idea as to even how to begin. Anyone have success stories to share?

I'm going to try something new this year. At our cluster meeting last night my HD gave us a scavenger hunt. You set your products up at individual stations. As guest arrive someone gives them their paper and a name tag. They go to each station and use the tool there...however their paper tells them...and check it off their list. Then when they have finished each station they bring you their form and you give them a gift...season's best...or you could use their form for a mystery host drawing. Then you talk to them about the stations briefly and take their order. This is different and might be fun.

I have always done mine as either Power Cooking, Product Launch, or a VIP (Past Hostess) Party.

I have a few recipes to sample and usually have SOME KIND of a demo near the end of the Show. I usually have them 11-2 or have done 1-4. On the invite I specify what time the demo will be - so if they are interested they come - if not, they usually stop in before. I do a Mystery Hostess SHow (and split the Hostess Benefits). I have Door Prizes - and have a larger item to promote what I am looking for - ex; Bookings, Sales. Have always had success. I think my SMALLEST show was over $600....

1. How can I attract new customers to my fall kick-off event?

There are several ways to attract new customers to your fall kick-off event. First, use social media to promote the event and reach a wider audience. You can also offer special discounts or promotions for first-time customers. Additionally, consider partnering with other businesses or organizations to cross-promote the event.

2. What types of fall-themed products or recipes should I feature at my event?

Fall is a great time to showcase warm and comforting dishes, such as soups, stews, and baked goods. You can also incorporate seasonal ingredients like apples, pumpkins, and squash into your recipes. Don't forget to also showcase fall-themed kitchen tools and gadgets that can make meal prep easier during the season.

3. How can I make my fall kick-off event stand out from other events?

One way to make your event stand out is to offer interactive activities, such as cooking demos or hands-on product demonstrations. You can also incorporate a theme, like a fall harvest or tailgate party, to make the event more memorable. Don't forget to provide samples and giveaways to keep attendees engaged and excited.

4. What are some tips for boosting sales during the fall season?

One tip is to focus on gift-giving events, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, by showcasing gift sets or offering personalized gift options. You can also offer bundle deals or discounts for purchasing multiple products. Additionally, consider hosting virtual events to reach a larger audience and make it easier for customers to shop from the comfort of their homes.

5. How can I keep my team motivated during the fall season?

To keep your team motivated, offer incentives or rewards for achieving sales goals during the fall season. You can also provide training or workshops to help them improve their skills and knowledge. Don't forget to recognize and appreciate their hard work and dedication, whether it's through a team outing or a simple thank you note.
