Instead of buying those dying kits, use koolaid. One pack of Koolaid and 2/3 cups water and you've got awesome egg dye. Two bonuses is, it's cheaper than those boxes of egg dye and it smells so yummy! :) Side note, if you use the lemonade flavor, mix it with a little bit of orange cause the lemonade doesn't dye too good.

1 package Vanilla Almond Bark

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or our silicone pastry mat.
Pour a layer of jelly beans on the pan (about half the bag).
Melt almond bark over low heat or in the microwave according to the directions on the package.
Pour melted almond bark over jelly beans.
Scatter remaining jelly beans on top.
Place in refrigerator for 45-60 minutes or until cooled completely.
Cut in bars or break into pieces. Enjoy!

Easter Bunny Bread Recipe
image and recipe courtesy of tasteofhome.com

2 loaves (1 pound each) frozen bread dough, thawed
2 raisins
2 sliced almonds
1 egg, lightly beaten
Lettuce leaves
Dip of your choice

Cut a fourth off of one loaf of dough; shape into a pear to form head. For body, flatten remaining portion into a 7-inch x 6-inch oval; place on a greased baking sheet. Place head above body. Make narrow cuts, about 3/4 inch deep, on each side of head for whiskers.

Cut second loaf into four equal portions. For ears, shape two portions into 16-inch ropes; fold ropes in half. Arrange ears with open ends touching head. Cut a third portion of dough in half; shape each into a 3-1/2-inch oval for back paws. Cut two 1-inch slits on top edge for toes. Position on each side of body.

I like the peep s'more idea that's been going around.1 graham cracker broken into 2 squares, 1 small chocolate bar, one peep bunny. Put in ziploc sandwich bag with instructions to place chocolate bar and peep on one square of the graham cracker, microwave 15 seconds and put other square on top. Thanks Deb for finding that.

All these posted photos - do we have permission to use them or are we going to get hunted down by irate bloggers if we share them on FB?

I credited the ones that had that info. A bunch were from Pinterest and most didn't have any source info. I am planning on using the pics on CS for an occasional email newsletter and general info for my shows. Plus they're great ideas for my personal cooking. As for FB- could be a risk.

Great ideas! So fun! Everyone, just remember to be careful posting these on your pages, as we need to find the original source and give credit to them when we use them. Bloggers are reporting pages that are using others's work and not giving credit or asking permission to use the photos. Some consultants are getting in trouble with FB for doing this.

1. How do you make the chickie deviled eggs?

To make the chickie deviled eggs, start by hard boiling 6 eggs. Once cooled, carefully peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and mix them with mayonnaise, mustard, and any other desired seasonings. Spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves and shape them into a "chickie" by adding small pieces of carrot for the beak and black olives for the eyes. Serve chilled.

2. Can you provide a recipe for the bunny cream puffs?

Sure, here's the recipe for bunny cream puffs:Ingredients:- ½ cup unsalted butter- 1 cup water- 1 cup all-purpose flour- 4 eggs- 1 cup heavy cream- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract- Bunny-shaped cookie cutter- Pink food coloring- Chocolate chips or candy eyesInstructions:1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.2. In a saucepan, combine the butter and water over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, bring the mixture to a boil.3. Add the flour and stir until a dough forms.4. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated.6. Scoop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming bunny shapes with a cookie cutter.7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.8. Let the cream puffs cool and then cut them in half.9. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.10. Add a few drops of pink food coloring to the whipped cream and mix until fully incorporated.11. Spoon the whipped cream onto the bottom half of the cream puffs.12. Place the top half of the cream puff on top to create a "bunny tail".13. Use chocolate chips or candy eyes to create the bunny's face on the top half.14. Serve and enjoy!

3. Is the bunny fruit bowl difficult to make?

No, the bunny fruit bowl is actually very easy to make. Simply start by cutting a large cantaloupe in half and scooping out the seeds. Then, use a small cookie cutter or knife to cut out two bunny ears from the rind of the cantaloupe. Fill the cantaloupe with a variety of sliced fruits such as strawberries, kiwi, and grapes. Finally, place the bunny ears on top of the fruit and serve.

4. Can I use a different type of fruit for the bunny fruit bowl?

Yes, you can use any type of fruit for the bunny fruit bowl. Some other great options include watermelon, honeydew melon, pineapple, and blueberries. Get creative and use a variety of colorful fruits to make your bunny fruit bowl even more festive.

5. Can I make these Easter treats ahead of time?

Yes, all of these Easter treats can be made ahead of time. The chickie deviled eggs can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. The bunny cream puffs can also be made a day in advance, but wait to add the whipped cream and assemble them until right before serving. The bunny fruit bowl can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator, but wait to add the fruit until closer to serving time to prevent it from getting soggy.
