Do I have to have a .Mac account to just have a mac email. My trail is about to run out... but I'm not interested in PC access to my mac stuff. I just want email.

gmail, yahoo, hotmail, there's probably even more.Has anyone noticed that Microsoft is trying to swallow Yahoo? That's a little scary, IMHO.
