I am sure no one else would make this stupid of a mistake, but just in case...
now that we can't double check our cc numbers I have been writing them all out and destroying them when the show clears. I inverted two peoples numbers!!! I can't believe I did this, They both had the name Theresa with the last name starting with M. Luckily I caught it before either of them did, but of course one charge was much bigger than the other. I know it was a stupid mistake and I will be much more careful next time, just thought I would let everone know to double check.

I found that out the hard way awhile ago. It came to light after the show was submitted, which if you are trying to meet a deadline could have dire consequences.

I was glad to see HO was doing more to protect customer cc info which would help my shredding chores, but now I keep them until the show ships.

It drives me nuts that we cant see the cc info anymore..... I had a customer that just had a show , well she called me yesterday to place another order and said just put it on my cc. T his was voice mail. So I tried to do this but couldnt see her cc #. took me a few hours to reach her again to get the cc#. ?She was annoyed at first but when I explained to her the safety of this she agreed.
