Couples Cooking Show Ideas: Get the Guys Involved!

In summary, the host is planning a couples show and requested manly recipes for the demo. Suggestions for the show include a "grill-off" competition, a "date night" theme, a "game night" theme, a "Fit Couples" show, and a "His and Hers" theme. The emphasis is on making the show fun, interactive, and engaging for both partners while showcasing the versatility of Pampered Chef products.

I have a host that has decided she wants to have a couples show. She asked me for manly recipes to look at for the demo. I guess I don't normally classify our recipes as manly or girly :) My husband said, "NO braids...those just aren't manly".

It's been forever since I did a couples show. I would like to involve the guys and maybe do a team cookoff. Any suggestions? I'm sure some cheffer has had some fun couples shows. Share with me what you've done :)

Well, I have a couples show next week - we are doing Bites and Bevs......but for the guys we are also having Ribs (in the DCB) and Beer! :D

The women are having mini pesto pizzas and wine, and then we are going to pass around the salad chopper and have everyone help make salsa for chips w/ salsa and guacamole. (because guys just love that salad chopper!)

Thanks!P.S. I am also going to post this in the "Booking Ideas" sectionOne idea for a couples show could be to have a "grill-off" where couples compete to see who can make the best grilled dish using Pampered Chef products. This could involve prepping and grilling the dish together, as well as presenting it in an appealing and creative way. You could also have a panel of judges (other party guests) to taste and vote on the winning dish. This would be a fun and interactive way to involve both partners in the cooking process.Another idea could be to have a "date night" theme, where couples learn to make a romantic dinner together using Pampered Chef products. This could include dishes like steak and potatoes, pasta with homemade sauce, and a decadent dessert. You could also have a fun activity like making homemade pasta or decorating a cake together. For a more casual and fun approach, you could have a "game night" themed couples show. This could involve making appetizers and snacks to enjoy while playing games like charades, Pictionary, or a Pampered Chef version of "Chopped" where couples have to use a secret ingredient in their dish.If you want to focus on healthy and nutritious meals, you could have a "Fit Couples" show where you demonstrate and prepare healthy recipes using Pampered Chef products. This could also include tips for meal planning and prepping for busy couples.Lastly, you could have a "His and Hers" theme where couples learn to make dishes that cater to their individual tastes. This could include a spicy dish for him and a lighter, vegetarian option for her. You could also have a fun activity like decorating personalized mugs or wine glasses to use during the meal.Overall, the key to a successful couples show is to make it fun, interactive, and engaging for both partners. Encourage teamwork and creativity while showcasing the versatility of Pampered Chef products. Good luck with your show!
