What Topping Should I Use For My Chip Dip Recipe?

I have a host who wants to do this recipe just as a dip with chips because she's not a big fan of peppers. My question is......would you top it with the chili lime rub/sour cream mixture or just not worry about it? Thanks.

Sure- or maybe put that in a bowl on the side with a little bamboo spoon so they can top it themselves if they want. You can actually do this same exact recipe on the pizza pan or bar pan using large restuarant style tortilla chips or scoops chips if you want to still have them have individual appetizers...

It really depends on personal preference. If the host wants to keep the dip simple and not add any toppings, that is totally fine. However, if she wants to add a little extra flavor, she could sprinkle some of the chili lime rub on top of the dip before serving, or mix it into the dip for added flavor. The sour cream mixture could also be served on the side as a dipping sauce for the chips. Ultimately, it's up to the host and what she thinks her guests will enjoy.
