Can Recycling Labels on Catalogs Help Reduce Waste?

In summary, catalog labels for recycling are stickers or labels placed on the back cover of Pampered Chef catalogs to indicate that they are recyclable. All Pampered Chef catalogs are recyclable, but it's important to check with your local recycling program before recycling. To recycle your catalog, remove any plastic sleeves or inserts and place it in your recycling bin. Alternatively, you can reuse your catalog in various ways such as using it as wrapping paper or for crafting before recycling it. If you prefer a catalog without a recycling label, you can request one from your Pampered Chef consultant.

I've seen lables on catalogs for Avon asking them to be left on the porch so the consultant can reuse the catalog. I want to deliver some flyers and catalogs to my neighbours but dont want to see the catalogs thrown away in the trash. Is there something I can put on a label so that i might be able to reuse the catalog if the people are just not interested in seeing a catalog?

Sticking to Business (stickingtobusiness.com) has a great triangular sticker to put in the corner of the catalog that says "Please recycle... pass me on to a friend."

Hi there! Thank you for bringing up this important topic. As a Pampered Chef consultant, I am also passionate about reducing waste and finding ways to reuse materials. I have seen the labels on Avon catalogs as well and I think it's a great idea to encourage customers to leave the catalog on their porch for reuse. One idea could be to include a note on the label asking customers to kindly return the catalog to you if they are not interested in keeping it. This way, you can still reuse the catalog for future customers and reduce waste. Additionally, you could also consider using digital catalogs or sending out e-invites to your neighbors to reduce the use of physical materials. Thank you for considering these options and for being conscious about waste reduction. Happy selling!
