Maximizing Success at Your Bridal Fair: Tips and Ideas

In summary, the conversation is about a wedding consultant who is attending a Bridal Fair in two days. They discuss strategies for making the event successful, including getting the contact information of potential clients and following up with them. The consultant also shares their experience with previous bridal fairs and offers to update the other person on how the event goes.

Hi All! I have a Bridal Fair on February 7th. At the end of the fair, I get a list of all registered brides, their address, phone number and email! I'm pretty excited about this.

What have you done at Bridal Fairs in the past? Do you have any pictures? I want to make this super successful, so any help would be appreciated!

Hey Mountainmama74! I have a bridal fair 2 days from now! As a wedding consultant I have done several bridal fairs. As a PC consultant I have only done 1. You will get alot of brides responding "oh my mom loves this stuff". . perfect opp to tell her why her mom loves the PC! Also you will get a few moms who drag their daughters to your booth b/c they are familiar with the PC. Both perfect scenarios. . Definately give them some info to walk home with but also GET THEIR INFO AT YOUR BOOTH. Whether you hold a drawing or just offer to contact them about the registry and shower opportunities, I strongly suggest you get their info first.
Yes you will get a contact list of EVERYONE who registered at the event so you will will walk away with more girls who did not visit your table. However, you will (if your wedding fair sponsors are lke the ones here) have to wait a few weeks. . now that might be okay for you but if not, having your own lead list will benefit you!
What i like to do is go ahead and call the ones you have contact info for. Even send them a personal letter and another copy of the Wedding Registry tri-fold from PC (those are so cheap i buy a ton and carry them everywhere!) Not sure which way is better:phone call before mailing or visa versa? But then when you get the complete list you can compare it to the ones you've already tackled and you have made a huge dent in the long list of leads.
Hope that helps! I'll let you know how thursday goes if you want!!

Some ideas for what to do at a Bridal Fair:1. Set up a visually appealing booth with your products or services on display. Use props, backdrops, and signage to catch the attention of brides-to-be.2. Offer a special promotion or discount for those who book your services at the fair. This will incentivize brides to make decisions on the spot.3. Have samples of your products available for brides to try, such as cake samples, flower arrangements, or makeup looks.4. Have a raffle or giveaway for a free product or service. This will attract more people to your booth and give you the opportunity to collect their contact information for future marketing.5. Provide informational materials, such as brochures or flyers, for brides to take with them. Make sure these materials have your contact information and a call to action.6. Have a professional photographer at your booth to take free headshots of brides. This will not only draw more people to your booth but also give you the opportunity to connect with them and potentially book them as clients.7. Create a fun and interactive activity at your booth, such as a DIY station for brides to make their own wedding favors or a photo booth for them to take pictures with their friends.8. Network with other vendors at the fair and offer to collaborate on future projects or events.9. Have a social media presence at the fair by creating a unique hashtag and encouraging brides to take pictures and post them on social media. This will help increase your online presence and reach a larger audience.10. Lastly, make sure to follow up with the brides after the fair. Send them a personalized email or give them a call to thank them for stopping by your booth and to offer any further assistance. This will help build a relationship with potential clients and increase the chances of them booking your services.
