Are Quick Stir Pitchers BPA Free?

In summary, Quick Stir Pitchers are made with BPA-free materials and are safe to use. BPA, or bisphenol A, is a chemical used in certain plastics and resins that has been linked to potential health risks. To determine if a pitcher is BPA-free, look for labels or markings on the pitcher or check the product's packaging. Does anyone know if our quick stir pitchers are BPA Free?
There is a number 2 on the bottom of the pitcher??
thanks!

If it is a #2 HDPE (high density polyethylene), or a #4 LDPE (low density polyethylene), or a #5 PP (polypropylene), your bottle is fine
BPA would usually be in something labeled #7...that doesn't mean it IS in the plastic if it has #7, just that it could be.Our Pitchers are fine.

I was quickly looking thru the use and care...so thank you so much!

I recently emailed the test kitchens about this and they were quick to respond -- so if you have any questions and cannot find it on the links, just ask them! :)

Hi there! Yes, our quick stir pitchers are indeed BPA free. The number 2 on the bottom of the pitcher indicates the type of plastic used, which in this case is high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a safe and durable material that is free of BPA. You can feel confident using our quick stir pitchers for all your cooking and entertaining needs. Happy stirring!
