My brother in law is an avid griller and is extremely picky about what he uses to grill. He got the BBQ Grill Basket and used it for the first time on Saturday. He made grilled chicken fajitas and said that everything stuck to it really bad! I told him to try spraying it with some oil with our kitchen spritzer and he kind of gave me a look--he apparently didn't like that idea! Any ideas of what he can do to prevent sticking?! Thanks!!

To prevent sticking he has to spray it or rub oil on it. There's no way around that.

It's stainless steel and things will stick unless it is brushed with oil first, it is just like cooking with stainless cookware

True no choice. The grill products are not non-stick. You can't use non-stick anything on a grill. Ask him about the grill grate he used? All good grillers, wipe oil onto the grates. Same with the baskets.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that your brother-in-law had trouble with the BBQ Grill Basket. As an experienced pampered chef consultant, I have a few suggestions that might help. First, make sure the grill basket is properly preheated before adding any food. This will help create a non-stick surface. Additionally, using a high heat cooking oil, such as avocado or grapeseed, can also help prevent sticking. Another tip is to lightly coat the food with oil before placing it in the basket. This will also help create a barrier between the food and the basket. I hope these tips help and your brother-in-law can enjoy perfectly grilled fajitas next time! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Happy grilling!
