Has anyone tried to make a baked potato in the DCB or RCB? What are instructions/times and how did it turn out? Gonna to a Top It Bar show and in our area its in the 100 degree weather and not sure I want to use a grill. :yuck:
 
I have done the potatoes for the Loaded Baked Potato Chowder and they turn out great -- follow the directions for baking the potatoes (minus the milk) and turn the time down a bit (or they WILL fall apart)....they should turn out great and will already be cut in half --

this is a great idea for an alternative to this type of show -- thanks for the post!

fyi - one 4 inch potato cut in half took 5 min in the RCB! It was great!
 
I used to do a baked potato show. Think of a cool name and make it into a theme show. The potatoes bake in the time it takes to set up, and do a show. Slice, dice, chop and mix a wide variety of toppings and display in assorted bowls, plates, etc.
