rice cooker cake
I have a question about making a cake in the rice cooker. First, do you microwave it with the lid ON? ALso, after it is done cooking, do you have to let it sit and cool for a few minutes before flipping it out onto a plate?
Oh my gosh. I have been trying to get a hold of customer service. One time I waited 50 minutes, Last night I waited 30 min. I am now at 14 min. What would they do this? I am sooo frustrated. Have any of you had this problem? Is there a better time of day to call?
I know it can be frustrating. But, personally, I wouldn't press it and say we had a verbal agreement. I would contine to give information to other local groups though. And at a later time, follow back up with this group to see where they're at in their fundraising activities. I have had...

I think we've all been there a time or two! Look at it this way....it only takes one GREAT show to boost your business. I joined last year in the fall. I was sooo busy in the fall, then December hit and business died off. I had only a booking or two for January, Well, my...
I have had really great experiences with Sunday shows. We usually schedule them around 1 or 2:00, after people have had morning service and had time to come home and change, or whatever they need to do. Saturdays, it seems to me, that lots of times people have the kids activities...
while we're on the subject of knives, I have a question. I had a customer purchase the steak knife set this weekend. The description in the catalog says something about sharpening and honing. What is honing?
I've had a simillar experience
I had a recruit that initially approached me about becoming a consultant. She was so eager to get started! But, two months later, she has yet to do a show. She won't even return my calls. I don't know what happened... anyway, my question is does the Pampered...
Don't get discouraged
We all have our ups and downs, and doubts. It sounds like you are taking the right steps to launch your business. Getting your name "out there" is very important. And remember, it only takes one good show to put your business in high gear! I was a little slow getting...
HELP! I have a host that hosted a kitchen show in mid MAY! She will not close her show. It has taken her this long to get 2 additional outside orders that totaled something like $60....that was last Friday. It is now Tuesday, and she will still not get me her order. I don't understand. All...
Don't panic! I know, easier said than done. Call HO asap tomorrow. I'm sure whoever received your delivery is very confused, and doesn't need it. I am sure that between HO and UPS, it can be tracked down. You still have a few days to get it worked out...don't panic.
Be flexible. I really try and listen to what my host wants. I try to taylor the party to her needs. I try to treat each party as a unique one. I don't want my hosts to ever feel like "just a number." This is HER party!
you never know...
I recently had a show that was about $800 in sales. There weren't many in attendance...maybe 5. But 1 guest ordered nearly $300 in products. Yep, you read that right! I tried to convince this guest to become a consultant, but no luck. She already sells Mary Kay, and says...

Don't get discouraged
I have been a Pampered Chef consultant for about 6 months now. I have had some really great months, and some "ok" months. In December, it seemed like my business was dying off. I hated this because I know you need bookings to get bookings. Well, one GREAT show in...
I love doing the garden ranch pizza because it shows off a lot of products. I also like doing the apple crisp - not everyone knows stones are microwavable, and making this dish in the microwave shows them how easy it can be!
