Thank you ladies for all the advice. I ended up using the v-shaped blade. I went to the store and searched for very firm lemons. I bought several and they still just shredded on the thin blade. The cakes were a big hit at my show last night. Tracy

I made the Mini Glazed Lemon Cakes the other night for a MOMs group cooking club and when I was slicing the lemon on the Ultimate Mandoline with the thin blade it just tore the lemon it did not slice it. I ended up doing it by hand with a knife. Can someone tell me how to use the lemon on...

Schel - I am so sorry that happened. I know that at my cluster meeting on Monday we were told not to say anything until Wednesday.

I will be out at my parents Aug 11-18, and they live in Loudoun County. I would be more than happy to help out while I am out there, If no one closer is available.

That is a great idea. Last year I brought stamps with me and address for my best customers and hosts and sent them out the Mini-catalog from conference that way when I got back I could call them to talk about the new products coming out. I got several books doing it this way.

First welcome to Chef Success and congratulations on promoting to Director in January. It is very easy to spend lots of time on here. There is so much wonderful information to take in and wonderful friends to meet.

The new catalog goes into effect on Sept. 1, but if I remember correctly you can order them at the end of July beginning of august.HTH

Thanks for the info, maybe I won't be looking for Zorro. I already have Superman, Batman, Darth Vader, Bob the Builder, and several others that I can't think of right now. I also don't need the boys marking up the walls anymore than they already have.:rolleyes:
