A friend is roasting two ducks for Christmas. He's going to serve Our Raspberry-Habanero sauce as a sweet option for guests, but he needs a good (proven) savory option. "No mustard," he begged.
Any suggestions? Specific recipes? Something that will compliment and not overpower the duck...
I was going to use Cherry Pie Filling on the top and Whipped Cream rosettes around the circumference. Using whipped cream on the top with chocolate curls might be easier. Thanks Becky.
I'm making a "Black Forest Trifle" for a potluck tomorrow. I'm using layers of devil's food cake, unsweetened (stabilized) whipped cream, and cherry pie filling.
