I don't think Super Suppers will be competition for us since it's more of a franchise and not direct sales. We have something similar near my house but it's called Plate Escapes, it has never hurt my business though and it's been here for at least 5 years.

Schel,
Sometimes your director will find the hotel and flight for you, however if you switch your conference you may have to look for one yourself. Check with your director first and find out.

Schel,
I believe you do have to go with the wave you are assigned to. As far as the price for the conference goes it is $175.00 (could be less if you submitted 3 or more shows in January) There is an extra $25.00 fee if you choose to go on a home office tour. Hotel prices vary, I'm driving...
Hi Everyone,
I have two craft fairs coming up and I was wondering what ideas you had about presenting recruiting materials. I have a tri-fold poster board that I would like to put wedding shower info, booking info, and recruiting info. on it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks...
That logo is really cute. I like them both a lot...I actually have the one KG posted hanging on my bulletin board! I think what I'll do at conference is just print out a label to put on my name tag that says "Are you a Cheffer?" and also put the picture KG made inside the clear pocket on my...
Wave 2Hi,
I'm also in Wave 2! I'll be staying at a Best Western (I booked through AAA since I am driving out, so I'm probably the only one at this hotel) I hope to finally meet a lot of you!

I know how you feel. I'm 24 and I have had similar problems, but now my business is going very well. Have you tried setting up at craft fairs and having a drawing for a free (you supply the food) cooking show? It's a great way to get leads, in fact that's how I got my first few shows. Also...
I was wondering the same thing. I'm thinking of printing out an "Are you a Cheffer?" label to put on my name tag. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone as well.

Jessica,
Don't give up! I was having a hard time at first too. I've only been doing this since November and it wasn't until early March until things started picking up. Have you tried setting up at any craft fairs and offering a free (you supply the food) cooking show drawing? That's actually...
WebsiteHi Susan,
If you go to Pamperedchef.com and go to Consultant's Corner there will be a tab that says "Promoting your Business", when you put your cursor over it you will see an option for Personal Website Assistant. When you click on this it will allow you to go through and edit your...
Pet tipsHi,
I would also recommend using the hot pad/trivet under the animals food and water dishes to prevent them from sliding around. I've done this because my cat likes to push his dish around like it's a hockey puck and it works great! I hope this helps and best wishes for your...
Home OfficeI actually called the home office yesterday (not the 800#), after an unsuccessful email. I spoke to a very nice woman named Delores in registration and I told her that I was a first time conference attendee and that the tours were full by the time I registered (the day registration...
Don't let it get you downAmanda,
Hopefully this woman will understand that you're only human and that we all make mistakes. I'm sure this will blow over. I've actually had numerous people mispronounce my name...and mine is pretty simple, but so many people have called me Maria or Mary. Just...
Booth PicThanks for posting the poster board pic, that is such a great idea! I've been using picture frames to display the guest/host specials, fundraising info, and wedding registry info....but it was taking up too much space on my table. I had one more question though, was the poster board...
