Well I'm sure glad I asked, then!! So when making iced tea, i should do it all on the stove and then transfer into the pitcher after it has cooled? Or is there a better way?
Is it safe to pour boiling hot water into my quick-stir pitcher to make tea?? I am guessing that it is, considering that it's shatter-resistant, but I just wanted to make sure!!
Hey everybody, I'm a young PCer and have my first defective baking stone. Actually, I purchased it myself a couple summers ago (June 06 I think), before I was a PC consultant. Now a piece has broken off, and as it was from my bridal shower, I cant remember the name of the consultant who sold...
oh yikes. :-P So if I send the order in by the end of this week - or even on the 1st- , I won't be able to get the pineapple wedger on the order because it's a February show?
So I last night at my show I made the Mango Torte with fresh pineapple - and everyone wanted the pineapple corer. Which is great!! But then I got home and started entering it into P3 and found that not only is it "unavailable" - because of the price changes, my P3 totals are less than the ones...
I have a catalog show going on that probably won't finish until the first or second week of March - will the host still qualify for the host special for February? When is the due date??
My husband didn't care for it much either...so considering that it's more than $10 to make, I probably won't make it again for us (unless I try the orange sherbet!). But I thought it was a decent no-bake dessert. Honestly I think you could leave off making the mint sauce and it would taste...
I just tried out the Tropical Torte recipe for a show I am doing next week. It was great! - but I ended up trying out a variation. My supermarket did not carry mango sorbet, so I got Raspberry sherbet instead. I think I probably still like the mango better (I got to try it at a cluster...
I just talked with a potential costumer today who said that she has a deep dish baker with a big crack in it - she said she got it years ago, but wondered if she could still replace it. I'm new to Pampered CHef and have never delt with a stoneware return before - what qualifies as a return, and...
Re: Rules??Well, I am thinking about selling Watkins Spices along with PC, and I also have a wedding name plaque business. I was wondering if I can make mention of either of these during a show. They would obviously be quite secondary and the most I'd probably do is use something like Watkins...
I have been asked twice in the past week if there is a replacement part or sharpener for the food chopper blades. Is there? I looked on the replacement parts list and did not see one, but apparently they have sold a sharpener in the past (or so I've been told).
Good ideas! I think I'll keep trying at it - maybe I was doing it too seriously or something and just need to make it a little more dramatic and "fun" like so many of you said. I have a show tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes!
