I have ones I bought in November and December 2008 and they have both done the same thing...I only hand washed also. They definitely don't look so pretty now. But besides the looks, there's nothing really "wrong" with them, correct? They are still safe to use and such?

It's sooo hard to be patient! My catalog bag is looking really sad right now and I LOVE the pink on the bag! Every time I turn onto my street I'm looking for that box :-)

Thank you, thank you, thank you, all!! You have done so much to make me feel better. I can't get upset over this and let it affect me and all the things I have going on right now--especially school! I want to excel in my MBA!! I do have to say, although I'm not actively pursuing this route yet...

You are all so GREAT!! I appreciate your wonderful words and thoughts! Very, very much! Whatever God wants to happen will happen and I really want to, at the very least, stay active throughout my Masters degree and then refocus more energy on the business when I'm done.

Thanks to you both! I appreciate the thoughts--I can't FORCE people to have shows :-) And I really do have a lot going on in my life right now--that was only a partial list of things I'm involved with; I left out community/volunteer stuff.

That's awesome! I just wish I could get shows on the books...I've been calling, calling, calling and some emails in addition to that and can't seem to get more than 2, maybe 3 on the books. Why wouldn't you want a fun night out with friends? LOL, oh, well, that is life...maybe my two shows next...

I'm glad I read this post...I feel less frustrated now. I've been upset w/ myself since after countless calls to everyone I know, every customer I've had, I still only have 2 shows for June. I wanted $6000 in sales, especially since I just surpassed the 10K career sales mark and I got laid off...
