Ceramic is a new trend for people who don't want to use non-stick surfaces. It doesn't have the same warranty as our other cookware and is more of an intro piece for those more budget conscious. I can't really speak to the safety of it, but Pampered Chef wouldn't sell it if they didn't think it...

I think because it was so few items there was no "list". The Stainless Cookware 7 piece set is also going "up" because it is discontinued and replaced by an 8 piece set that is more expensive because of the addition of another piece.
