I evenly space the first can to go around half the stone, then open the second can & evenly space the rolls to go around the other half of the stone & it's fine every time.
Someone made these for our cluster meeting & she used refrigerated biscuits (or as I call them, the "whack 'em biscuits" b/c you whack them on the counter to open the can).

I prefer the write-in form. Whenever I would order the itemized before we had a choice, I would either order too many & have to throw them away or not order enough. With the write-in I don't have to worry about wasting the forms & my money.

If the host can't get to the grocery store before her show, I volunteer to get the ingredients. But I make sure she pays me back before I leave her house that night.
I give my Catalog Hosts a deadline & offer an incentive to make sure she gets orders. I tell her if she beats my highest show, I'll give her something for free when we close her show.
Something my director told me to do when I'm in a bind is to contact 15 people & ask them to participate in a $1000 catalog show. 10 of those 15 will help you out. All they have to do is collect $100 in outside orders. How you divvy up the host benefits is up to you. I haven't tried it yet, but...
