Alternative Uses for Your Favorite Pampered Chef Item

Quick-stir pitcher can be used to mix up large quantities of baby formula or pancake batter. I have also heard of using it as a "washing machine" for small items while camping (I've never done that, and you'd probably want one dedicated just to that task vs. reusing the one you mix drinks in)...

Delicious Speedy Upside Down Pineapple Cake

Did you sprinkle the sugar in the pan and then pour the butter over it? If so, maybe try mixing the butter and sugar before pouring into the pan. If you did mix it first, is your stone seasoned? Maybe try greasing the stone first?

Need Help Gearing a Show Towards Baby/Kid Friendly Foods.

I use the Creative Cutters to cut shapes out of sandwiches for my son. It makes a "boring" sandwich much more interesting and the small size makes it easier for him to pick up on his own.

I'll second the pineapple upside down cake, that's one of my faves in the microwaves. I was never crazy about the looks or texture of the cakes done in the microwave until I tried that one. My mom has made this for years and always has a container in the fridge. We just called it "cake pan grease" and it does work wonders!

Removing Red Stains from Bowls: Watermelon Woes

Wad up a piece of newspaper, put it in the bowl, put the lid on and let it sit overnight. The newspaper should absorb the smell. Baking soda might also work, although I've never tried it with that. The newspaper trick has worked for me in the past.

What are your favorite tips for using the Deep Covered Baker?

Can you post the instructions for that? Also, what types of pasta do you normally do? Are there any types that don't work so well? I love doing pasta, but HATE having to boil a big pot of water for it (and usually have it boil over on the stove....)
