not sure i will be any help

could you have moved into a app grouping? i don't have get an "x" to delete the messages app on my 4s

all else fails call apple.

Thanks....I looked in all my "folders" and can't find it. I'm told it can't be deleted.
..... Is there an emoticon for tearing my hair out?
 
Tap your home button twice and scroll thought them and see if you find it there.
