Reactivating an Inactive Recruit: Who Does She Report To?

In summary, the responsibility for reactivating an inactive recruit typically falls on the recruitment team or the HR department. The inactive recruit may report to their previous supervisor upon reactivation, but if that is not possible, a new supervisor may be assigned. If the inactive recruit does not want to report to their previous supervisor, the recruitment team or HR department will work with them to find a suitable alternative. They can contact their designated supervisor, the HR department, or the recruitment team if they have any questions or concerns. There is no specific timeline for reactivating an inactive recruit, as it depends on various factors, but the recruitment team and HR department will work to expedite the process as much as possible.

If my recruit goes inactive and then reacitivates will she go to my director or does she stay my recruit?

As long as you're active, she'll stay your recruit. If you go inactive, THEN all of your recruits move up to your director.

Thanks Becky.

1. Who is responsible for reactivating an inactive recruit?

The responsibility for reactivating an inactive recruit typically falls on the shoulders of the recruitment team or the HR department. They are the ones who have the necessary resources and knowledge to reach out to the inactive recruit and encourage them to re-engage with the company.

2. Does the inactive recruit report to the same person as before?

It depends on the specific situation. If the inactive recruit had a designated supervisor or manager before becoming inactive, then they would most likely report to the same person upon reactivation. However, if the inactive recruit's previous supervisor is no longer with the company, they may be assigned a new supervisor or manager.

3. What if the inactive recruit does not want to report to their previous supervisor?

In this case, the recruitment team or HR department will work with the inactive recruit to find a suitable alternative. They may consider assigning a new supervisor or allowing the inactive recruit to choose their preferred supervisor within the company.

4. Who should the inactive recruit contact if they have questions or concerns?

If the inactive recruit has any questions or concerns, they can reach out to their designated supervisor or the HR department. They can also contact the recruitment team if they have any questions about the reactivation process or their role within the company.

5. Is there a specific timeline for reactivating an inactive recruit?

There is no set timeline for reactivating an inactive recruit. It may depend on various factors such as the reason for inactivity, the availability of positions within the company, and the willingness of the inactive recruit to return. The recruitment team and HR department will work together to expedite the reactivation process as much as possible.
