Hello! I just booked my first official cooking show! Please somoene take a look at my host letter and let me know what you think. Am I forgetting anything?
I plan on including with it several catalogs and outside order forms. Flyers on the bundles and gift sets. The Host and Guest Specials flyers. And the PC cooking show planning guide. Along with a few invitations.

Jenn,

That sounds great. You may want to make it clear that you will only demo 1-2 recipes for a demo show. I havent signed my Consultant Agreement yet. Im waiting for some personal issues to cool off first. I will def be stealing your letter once I get there!!!

Good Luck!!!

Thanks so much, and good idea! I wouldn't want her to call me with a long list of recipes! :)
I just started about 2 months ago and I love it so far. Originally I signed thinking oh the discount is great and I have a friend or 2 who might want to do a catalog show, but it was so easy to get sales, that I've decided to really try and make some money at it!
I think if you love the products you can do it! And this site has been a lifesaver for me! So many great ideas! Good luck!

That is a great letter, I may have to steal it!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Host Letter and why is it important for my first cooking show?

A Host Letter is a personalized communication sent to your guests before the cooking show. It outlines the details of the event, including the date, time, location, and what to expect. It’s important because it sets the tone for the event, generates excitement, and ensures that your guests have all the necessary information to attend and enjoy the show.

How do I personalize my Host Letter for my cooking show?

To personalize your Host Letter, include a warm greeting and mention the guest's name. Share a little about why you’re excited to host the show, any special themes or recipes you’ll be featuring, and how their presence will make the event more enjoyable. Adding a personal touch helps guests feel valued and more likely to attend.

What should I include in my Host Letter?

Your Host Letter should include the date and time of the cooking show, the location, a brief agenda of what to expect, any special promotions or offers, and RSVP instructions. You might also want to include a list of items guests can bring, such as their favorite beverage or a friend to share the experience with.

How can I encourage my guests to RSVP to my cooking show?

To encourage RSVPs, make it easy for guests to respond by providing clear instructions on how to confirm their attendance. You can also create a sense of urgency by mentioning limited seating or special offers for those who RSVP by a certain date. Additionally, follow up with a friendly reminder a few days before the event to reinforce the invitation.

What should I do if I don’t receive responses from my guests?

If you don’t receive responses, consider reaching out individually to your guests via phone or text. A personal touch can often prompt a response. You can also send a follow-up message reiterating the details of the cooking show and expressing how much you’d love to see them there. Sometimes, a gentle reminder is all it takes to get a commitment.
