So far we like Yokosuka. I am waiting for the weather to get better to get out and do more. It rains alot here. How long does your Pc products take to get to you? Here it seems to be taking 3-4 weeks. When I lived in Spain it only took two weeks. but back then it was UPS and not fed ex. I guess I am spoiled with it only taking a few days in the states.

How do you like Yokosuka? We absolutely LOVE Japan, but we are down in Okinawa. I have been really impressed by the level of customer service that the Japanese provide. It far outweighs anything I've EVER seen in the U.S. I'm going to be very disappointed to leave Japan next year.

We were trying to get mainland Japan next, but they are telling us that they can't ship our property from here to mainland, it has to go to the US first and that's not cost effective. They say it's cheaper to send us to the U.S. and another family from the U.S. to mainland ... which is kind of silly if you ask me.

hmmm.... my husband is active duty army. he did one year national guard but that wasnt enough action as he says. and hes been active for 3 years now. he just got back from 16 months in the sand. were stationed at Ft Riley Kansas. we are pcs'ing to Ft Lewis washington in june. i love the army life. not so much on the deployments though. but with his new job theyll be more secretive and not as lengthy. i love being a consultant dont have to many sales as of yet. but the army community is more then always willing to help get you started. i hope to get to know all you ladies.

I should really surf the options of ChefSuccess more. I didn't know that there was a "group" section.

Thought I'd drop in and say Hello! I'm a Navy wife stationed in Okinawa, Japan. I signed up as a consultant 10 months ago & love selling PC. I have a 14 month old daughter & our son is due to arrive via c-section on March 5th. Hopefully, I can still keep the business going with two little ones at home.

I can relate Sharon. I did a stint with recruiting command while on active duty and have nothing but respect for what your guy is doing...honestly, it's one of the toughest assignments. Is your husband a permanent recruiter or detailed?

My husband is an active duty army recruiter (YUCK!!!) in southern New Jersey. Bad thing about recruiting? The main one for me is we are not on, or even near, a post. We have been army for 14 years and for the last two not on a post and it's tough being around people who have no idea what it's like to be a military wife.

Hello, I'm not a military spouse, but I've been in the Air Force for 14 1/2 years. Right now I'm stationed at Volkel Air Base in the Netherlands.

Hello. I am a Navy wife (11 years now) and have been a Pampered Chef consultant for 1 year now. We just moved to Jacksonville Florida from Norfolk Virginia. I have 3 kids, 5 if you count hubby. I joined this group to help me with my PC business. I am not as successful as I would like to have been.
