However, it they include new products, then I don't want to know. It doesn't even start until Wave 3 is over on Saturday. Any help would be appreciated. |

I'm the one that HATES surprises and LOVE to spoil the fun HOWEVER in this case, it's only fair as we agreed to not say anything. At this point, a few more days won't kill anyone. It's not worth even discussing. It's like Christmas...Santa will bring good things all in due time. |

Posts: 2,622 Best Show: 1250 Experience: 3 # of Shows: 140 My Mood: | I'm sure that I'll get something for this... but what I always took from conference was that you weren't allowed to tell for the chance that it might ruin it for someone going to conference after you. I get that. What I don't get is why PC encourages consultants to bring stamps & purchase mini-catalogs to mail out info to customers from conference. For example, there is a downline in the next town over that is in Wave 1 this year. I have some friends in that next town that are customers of mine. Some of their friends already know info & have seen a mini catalog. Customers already know & I don't. I don't get that at all. I also don't get how it's ok that directors come home & have cluster meetings today or tomorrow. The consultants in that group didn't go to conference either but they're learning info before the end of wave 3. |

Posts: 1,884 Best Show: 1600 Experience: 1 # of Shows: 74 My Mood: | i understand why TPC wants to maintain the drama of revealing the new products, theme shows, and incentives to each wave at NC. Last year was my first NC and I was in Wave 1. I did not feel at all like I would have been giving away anything or ripping myself off if I had told my non-attending clustermates or other PC friends about the new stuff...if they asked. Of course I would not want to spoil it for anyone who did not want to know. I stated in another thread that the main benefits of attending NC are the things you aren't going to get after it's all over - networking, learning from the best, and the motivation that comes from with 2,000 cheering PCers. Just my opinion |

I would love to get the great workshops etc. at conference, but for our family it is simply not an option. I dont' think anyone wants to spoil the surprise for those who are able to be there, but I'm not sure how knowing product info. is a benefit reserved for those who can attend? oh well... |

Posts: 3,338 Best Show: $1300 Experience: 2 # of Shows: 76 My Mood: | I updated my initial post, as some were generous enough to share. I agree with Crystal, as to PC selling mini's and customers seeing the info before other PC consultants. I am not trying to "ruin" it for anyone. I just wanted the info for myself. I could see if I said "post everything on CS" but I didn't. I asked for it to be emailed directly to me. In addition, there are many people who are in the SAME BOAT as me, with other reasons like me, who could not attend. In years past, most everyone was willing to "share" the information. In the past there were "emails" that went out to consultants from Conference about products...that was last year. I would have been in Wave 1, which is why I was asking. Anyway, I got what I sought out for. Thank you to those who assisted. I thank you for your insight. |

I think your dead on Susan! I don't know why but this year there has been a lot of nasty! Basically if you don't go to conference then your looked down upon. I feel really bad for all those people who couldn't go because times are tough, those are the people who need the info the most to build their businesses and be able to improve their situations. I don't care if anybody disagrees with me, but this has been the vibe on here and I am really disappointed with a few people on here. That being said I don't think that the information should have been given out via threads but privately. I can't believe that some customers know the new products before some consultants Now the really amusing part for me is that our conference isn't until next month and there is always just a few things that are different from the US. But hay that doesn't matter right? We are just those idiots up north!! ![]() | |

Posts: 3,651 Best Show: 1392 Experience: 1 # of Shows: 45 | Totally agree. We can't post the news here, and that's totally understandable and fine. But when people ask for the scoop for whatever reason, people just slam them. Not everyone has, but there has been a tone that has been quite harsh. I think as long as you don't ruin the surprise for those attending, it's okay to fill people in. It's just one week difference. My enjoyment of Conference isn't "ha ha I know and you don't". It's getting the excitement of being at the center of all the excitement, seeing how they introduce things. Feeling the motivation and inspiration from listening to the speakers during general sessions and learning something from the workshops. Networking, and learning, getting some freebies. That's what's important. Someone else not attending and knowing things wouldn't ruin my fun or lessen the importance of my attending. I think the message Marla and Jean say at the end is totally about not ruining their hard work of keeping things fun and exciting and awesome for the next waves....We are supposed to come home and get to work and be excited. I think it's natural to share the news with those who couldn't attend and really want to know. It's not like they'll do some special exciting release video or something on CC and people knowing before hand will ruin things. Everyone is going to be just as excited, even if they know the scoop, because they'll get to SEE it then! |
