Pampered Chef Thread: Simple Sugar Cookies

Hey DC! I have made these cookies, and I know, they sound really strange with nonexistent recipe ingredients but they taste just like regular p.b. cookies~ Try these out~! I might even make them myself right not to take to my cluster mtg tonight!

1 cup sugar (you can cut this down to 3/4 cup, if you prefer)
1 large egg
1 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
Combine sugar and egg in mixing bowl, stirring till smooth. Add peanut butter and mix in thoroughly.
Roll into walnut-sized balls.
Place the balls on ungreased cookie sheets at least 2" apart.
Flatten with the tines of a fork.
Turn 90 degrees and use fork again to create cross hatches.
Bake 10 minutes at 375F (or till done). Let cool in pan for 1 minute before removing to cooling rack.

Obviously, this is not a PC recipe but you can turn it in to one by using all of your tools! Good Luck!

...or roll them into balls on your stone and use the cooling rack to mark all of the cookies at once!

O I was thinking of making these the other night, we used to make them soemtimes in Home Ec in High School, and they were the best ever, I have even done them for fundraisers and they're usually the first to go, since they are sooooo easy you can make quite a few of them in no time, ooo the memories, lol.

The sugar cookie recipe that comes with the Cookie press (spritzes, they are called) is really easy. The cookies are very light and tasty. They also stay soft, which I love!

Thank you for the great p.b. cookie recipe--it sounds so easy, even I might be able to do it! I'll certainly pass this along to my customer, as well as letting her know that a sugar cookie recipe comes with the cookie press!
