Thumbs up Ideas to get the most from my website

I just subscribed (or whatever its called) to having my own website. What is the best way for me to utilize it to get the most bang for my buck?

TIA!

Have put my address on everything I have and I encourage evites, but so far since I started in April I have had only 2 website orders. I doubt i renew it after this. Sorry to discourage, this is just my thoughts. Most of my customers would rather shop from the actual catalog. How does everyone else's webiste sale fair?

Having a Web site is a really good resource for hosts who want to get out-of-town friends and family to place orders. It can also be an effective tool for those who want Internet-only catalog shows or just want to give people other options.

My hosts use it to send out e-vites to people, in conjunction with the invitations that I give to them. They also put their wishlists online before the show so we can both see what sort of sales goal they want to accomplish. The site also allows hosts to send reminders to people close to the deadline of their shows.

I like the site as well because I keep track of shows that I have going on, contact information, sales tax information, etc., so I don't have to keep opening Pampered Partner if I need something. It also is a marketing tool, and people can contact me through the site. Plus hosts also enjoy seeing their show listed on my Web calendar.

I just subscribed in April. I've had several online orders (maybe 5 - 6). I do think it's a good tool. I'll have to see what else happens with it before I renew. I have it printed on my business cards and promote it every chance I get so I'm hoping it will pickup over time. I'll be very interested to read what everyone else writes about website use.

Default Website is a good idea!

I really like that my hosts have the ability to increase their sales (and my commission) by inviting out of town family and friends to order from my website by just typing in her name.
Also I can leave old catalogs all over the place with my info on it. The website is the easiest way to place an order and not even really having to call me or talk to me. I do follow up with a phone call, (but answering machines are fine with me), I leave a message saying
"Thank you for your order, I hope you enjoy your products, please keep my website handy or even bookmarked on your computer for any future purchases and if you have any questions please feel free to call me back at xxx-xxxx!"
I have had about 8 orders. 3 from total strangers. 5 from out of town guests for my hosts.

I have had over $350 in online orders in June alone (NOT including orders that are part of shows)...put you web address on EVERYTHING - on your biz cards - on your catty's - in your email signature - on your receipts - everywhere...

Tell guests at your shows (and in your email newsletters) that you have recipes posted on your website. This will increase traffic. Change the recipes every once in awhile and post ones that you are using at your shows, especially if they aren't available in a current P-Chef cookbook.

I also have a hidden recipe that I change every month. If the guest finds it and emails the place it is hidden, they will receive a SB cookbook. So far I've only had one person do it! But, I figure it will pick up towards the fall when everyone starts online shopping for christmas gifts.

Once I am a director then I'll get orders and leads from it too. One more show to go

I tell everyone at my shows to visit the site and bookmark it. I list all of my shows, cluster meetings, items of interest. My schedule is light right now, but you can take a look at it: /annepratt. You know the first part.

I am going to get a giant decal on my car window with the website. The site is going to be big with my name and number smaller under it. They can get all the other info from my website anyway!

I just did that! Actually, it just has my website on it. A friend of mine makes decals on the side, so he made me one for free! I'll give him a PC product as thank you!
