Wow you are a saint, I am bowing down to you right now what a great idea I just did a wedding shower yesterday and I cut them all out and had to throw away 3 catalogs, thanks a lot for your hard work and can't wait to use them!

You are welcome, glad to help. The idea has been passed around here for awhile and now it has been revived.
I'm sure there are some that would rather use the catalogs than to print all the pictures. For those that would rather print, then this available too.

You are awesome! I don't have the patience to do all that. I usually just get one of the girls in our youth group to cut pictures out of old catalogs!

When I do Bridal Showers I do the following for the Bride's Wish List:

After I get the info and prior to the shower, I make up a "wish card" for each item on the list. I do this similar to the items listed on this thread (photo, item number and price). I also put a couple of lines on the cards so the gift giver can write a personalized note if they wish. I also have a line on which they can sign the card also. When I do the shower, I place the cards by the gift selection item (that way the gift giver can actually see the items) I do not take all the wish list items with me to the shower, but some of the more prominent ones. For the items that I do not take, I place the cards in a row so they can choose from those too. It does elimiate any duplicates! Just make sure to go over the orders that were placed by those unable to attend prior to the shower. I make everyone wait until the presentation is over, that way everyone has a fair chance on getting the card/gift they want to give! After the shower is over, I can give the bride the gift cards and she can see what she has received. This will make it easier for her to choose her free items and will know exactly what she is getting. This will allow her to update any other gift registries that she may have made elsewhere too!

Thank you SO much! I was checking for JUST this info!! I have a bridal shower in a few weeks and have never done this (showers yes, but with a list and the group of physical products). One question for those that color code. It IS easier and I love the idea. Do you think it's an issue though for those picking? Pressure to pick from the higher priced basket? Maybe not if they choose several from the lower. Just curious if anyones gotten a negative reaction. I'm SO excited about this . Although I have a host that had a PC bridal shower and is planning to do a board of products herself!!

I totally missed this update thread and was busy making these very labels today for a shower tomorrow. I got home and went to lamenating and some how a few pages of labels did not make it home.

Since I forgot my stick that I saved all this on - - - I was very frustrated and bummed that I was going to have remake about 3 pages and thought I would check here to find the labels - THANK YOU THANK YOU.... I was able to find the ones I needed and re-print very quickly.

Now to finish lamenating, cut out and put magnets on them.... ughh tomorrow is going to come early

I Make A Big Card By Flding Colored Poster In Half. Outside I Write Brides Name Loves...
Grooms Name
&
Pampered Chef.

I Buy Heart Doilies At Closeout In Feb, And Cut Out Pictured From The Brides Wish List And Paste Them On The Doilie, The Doily Is Attached With A Small Piece Of That Stick Up Stuff That Looks Like Putty. The Guest Brings Me The Heart, They Write A Message On It So Everyone Knows It Is Taken Some Hearts Have Monitary Amounts So The Bride Chooses What They Want. I Also Keep The Gift List Til Prior To The Wedding Day Then Get It To Someone In Medding Party To Display At The Reception Asmany Ask For Show To Close After Wedding So Delivery Comes After The Honeymoon.
