Default NEED ANSWER QUICK: denim skirt ok for conf?

Any thoughts, I know they say no jeans but what about denim skirts? Thanks for the input. I so love procrastinating packing!

As long as it's neat and doesn't have frayed edges, you should be Ok. Wear a nice top with it.

I wore a dark denim a-line skirt with a nice shirt and felt JUST fine!! Really, as long as you'd be comfortable wearing it to church (and I don't always get super dressy for it), you are fine. No grungy clothes and "inappropriate for public consumption" clothes. It was unbelievable what we saw downtown Chicago and it would be distracting at conference to see people dressed is such little clothing!

Just returned from Wave 2 and I was quite surprised by some of the attire and with that being said, I'm sure your denim will be perfectly okay!

YES, YES, YES!!

I just got back from Wave 2- you will be fine in a denim skirt!

I wore very long walking shorts two days and a khaki skirt on the last day. I fit in just perfectly!

ok, thanks so much. I also have some shorter style (cargo style) capris that were iffy but I was going to wear them on the last day (what, are they gonna kick me out and send me home at that point? ) I guess it will all be fine. Thanks!

Exactly, you are completely fine in whatever you are comfortable in. I love the idea that I can wear clothes and be clean in them at the end of the day, but after stressing about it I finally decided that I didn't care. No, there were no fashion police walking around. In Wave 1, I didn't see anything inappropriate either.
