Default Did you see weekly bites!?

On Aug. 31, we have many new and exciting enhancements that will be added to
your Personal Web Site.

• New colors! You will see that two new template color designs have been added
which incorporate two of the new fall/winter 2006 colors, eggplant and marigold.
• New Products! The new fall/winter 2006 products will be added to the “Our
Products” public page so that anyone who visits your Personal Web Site will be
able to view and purchase them, either as part of a Show, or on an individual
order.
• You will be able to submit an electronic request for approval to link to the
host organization’s Web Site for fund-raiser Shows. You only have to enter the
information about the organization, including the Web Site address where your
site will be advertised, and it will be automatically sent to the Home Office
for approval and you will receive an answer within 72 hours.
• You will have the ability to view whether each host and/or guest has opened
their e-invitation or other e-mail that was sent from your Personal Web Site.
You will see an additional column labeled “Viewed” listed in the e-mail tracking
box and it will say “Yes” or “No.”
• Did you know that with your current version of PamperedPartner® you are now
able to import your contacts from PamperedPartner® into your Personal Web Site?
If you need further help with this, there are instructions both in
PamperedPartner® and in the Help option of the Import Contact Wizard on your
Personal Web Site.
• Gift Certificates are now available to be ordered on your Personal Web Site as
an outside order for your Shows.
• You and/or your hosts will now have the option of printing the Host Wish List.
• We will be adding a new Customer Connection e-mail that highlights several of
the new fall/winter 2006 products. Utilize this e-mail to promote the new
products, gather bookings and generate sales for your business.
• We have redesigned the Our Products sections, both on Outside Ordering for a
Show and the public Our Products areas of your Personal Web Site, to have the
same look and feel as the Individual Orders area of your site.
• In order to maintain a more consistent branding message across all of our Web
Sites, we are removing the ability to customize the Web Site greeting/title bar
that appears at the top of your homepage. As of Sept. 1, this bar will appear
blank with no text.

Default Was that in Weekly Bites or Personal Website Update?

In order to maintain a more consistent branding message across all of our Web Sites, we are removing the ability to customize the Web Site greeting/title bar that appears at the top of your homepage. As of Sept. 1, this bar will appear blank with no text.

I have to say that I am usually excited to read the updates to our sites. However, I am disappointed with this, as I feel the websites are already pretty generic. I felt this line gave customers an idea of my personality. I will miss it.

I sent an email of disappointment about this.

I agree. On my bar, I put Updated & the date I update-with new recipes, new available show dates on the My Calendar. Why would they need to take away that one line? I wonder what some people are putting on there that they don't like?

Who knows. I know they like things to be as generic as possible, but c'mon.

I was really excited about the fact they will let you know if the evites have been viewed...I always wonder if they just go directly to junk mail and then are never seen.

I was excited about that too. That's the one thing I hate about email is that you can't always tell if someone has viewed it or not.

I am fairly new with my website. I have a question:

Is there a way to send a more generic email from our website- for example a monthly newsletter- instead of having to use their templates?
