Great show tonight!

Many people there - not all have ordered yet, but right now sales are at $750, with 5 Bookings for September, and 1 Booking for October! Whooo Hoooo!

I had to come back and add something here, because it keeps making me smile (and giggle a little) when I think about it.

As I was helping one lady with the check-out process, I asked her (like I ask everyone!) if she was one of the ones interested in having a party. Her answer was "NO, but I'm closer to saying yes tonight then I've EVER been before!" That just cracked me up! I thanked her and told her that may be about the nicest thing anyone had ever said about my parties! She told me that for her to even consider it, I must have done a really good job!
I gave her a recipe card and thanked her for coming, and she said "But I'm keeping all of your info, because I just might change my mind!" So I told her to just let me know when she needed some gentle arm-twisting, and we'd get a show on my books! She was laughing as she walked away.
THAT was a highlight of a very fun show.

That's great, Becky. I love the hosts who say, "I don't know why I'm doing this. I NEVER host parties." Makes me feel like I'm doing a good job.

SUHHHWEEEET!

I just booked an Oct fundraiser with the local high school band boosters club!

This club is extremely active, and take their fundraising seriously - I am so excited about this!

(oh - and before everyone asks how I managed to get this booking...the Co-chairman of the committee is my neighbor, and we were closing her show today when she mentioned it to me! So, I really didn't have to do much of anything )

"It keeps getting better....."

I've been humming that this afternoon! I just had a great training time with a new member of my team - she signed today! She has 2 Fundraisers, 2 Catalog Shows, and 3 Cooking Shows already lined up for August!

Then, I came home to an email from someone who attended the show last night. She added to her order, and although she said "no" last night to booking a show, she changed her mind and just booked for October! That's 7 bookings from last nights show

I now have 7 shows booked for Sept., and 4 for Oct. along with an Oct. FR!

Pinch me....I might be dreaming!

I know what you mean becky, since I got back from conference I have done 6 six shows and they are all doing really good and I have signed one person already and I am working with two other that should be signing before the end of the month and my husbands aunt called me yesterday with a 160.00 order and I got 3 home office leads since I have gotten home I was so excited yesterday !!!!! That I couldn't hardly stand it.

Last wednesday/thursday I made 25 calls and got orders and got 6 shows booked between august and september and 1 in october. So that was very productive and I cleaned up a mess one of my consultants had made and now I am back doing shows down there and have gotten excellent good responds from the customers down there in the area and they were excited to see me again.

Okay, I have been missing in action here on Chef Success as well as from my business since about mid-June due to my maternity leave and complications from my pregnancy, but now need to get back to business!!!

My goals for 2009-2010 are:

~To consistently make at least 5 contacts a day 5-6 days a week.

~To consistently hold and submit 6-8 shows per month (or even more would be greater!!!)

~To become a Director. (I currently have 1-2 active, with one of those consultants being a Senior Consultant). So part of my action plan will be to work on recruiting (I have a few leads to follow up with).

~To earn the Disney Incentive. ( I am quite behind on this right now, so I have TONS of work to do if I am going to make it).

I have been crazy busy since NC with the County fair. It has been going well so far. Lots of leads to follow up with. Tonight I booked a party for aug 13th. and got 2 STRONG leads for shows along with 2-3 warm show leads. A great night! Saturday is typiccally the busiest and I have the booth all day. 10am - 10 pm.... long day but hopefully productive! Last night the Tupperware lady next to said she wanted a cat. show for Sept. She needs a new lg bar pan.

BTW... I HATE being right next to the VERRY pushy TW lady!

Last night I made 12 calls:
8 messages
1 person just not interested at all
1 person who is interested in the business but doesn't have time right now
1 addition to my newsletter list
1 invited to my cooking class

I'm taking the weekend off from calls (DH will be proud), but I'm going to make a host coaching call today, and have logowear on when we go out and about.

Another good day at my fair booth. Traffic was a bit slow but many good show leads, a few recruit leads and 1 interview scheduled. I am working toward 10 shows booked and 3 new consultants. (that is my goal anyway for results from this fair).

I spent the day yesterday with the Family @ a Car Show...didn't have any leads or any contacts.

Also, today was church this morning - no PC contacts, other than speaking to a host briefly about closing her show.
Lunch, Nap, and relaxing with the guys, and now we are biking to the In-Laws for the evening.

HOWEVER! I LOVE BEING A TEAM LEADER! Those leads are amazing....

In the month of July, I have one consultant (HO lead) signed, and just got another one today! I also had an online purchase yesterday from a HO Lead - bringing my total for online lead purchases to $250 for the month!

I love it when the computer does the work for me!

I had a good show today, 1 definite show booked from it, 2 more checking calender and 1 recruit lead! That makes 15 on the calender for August and 5 people checking calenders. i just might hit that goal of 25 for the month!

I participated in a booking blitz yesterday, but didn't have a lot of luck with it. Left 12 voicemails, spoke to 3 people that I need to call back because it was not a good time for them, and spoke to a potential recruit lead that is also a potential fundraiser lead. Need to get organized and continue with calls tomorrow.

You are doing great Brenda! Making the calls is the hardest first step! It will happen!

I only made five calls at lunch today.

One person I had met at a booth a while back and had given a replacement parts form to. She said she still needed the piece, but would have to call me back later today.

One person I had met at Midway on the way back from conference. She went to FL for a week for vacation and had lost the mini I gave her. She asked for my website address.

One no answer, one message.

Then I spent an hour on the phone with a past host who had questions about starting her own business! She is very excited, and I told her to look at her calendar, pick days and call up some friends to line up her first 6 shows. She said she still wants to talk to her husband, but she's already done a little of that, so I know he's not going to talk her out of it.

I'm feeling good today!

I made 16 calls today

12 messages, 2 no answers
One person not interested in what I had to offer
One person who was at the pool, but wants to talk to me later about a date for her show.

Oh, and the gal I talked to yesterday? I saw her in the parking lot on my way to the car to get my phone. She only comes in about once every three months when she needs to change her password. She said she'd spoken to her husband and he was supportive of what she wants to do. She's going to take some time this weekend to put together her first few bookings (she wants to be sure that when she jumps in, she'll be successful), and once she has her list, she'll sign the contract.

Wahoo!
