Hi all,

I just got an email from a friend in the Philippines with an interesting problem. She really wants to make the Turkey Cranberry Wreath for a Christmas party and can't get crescent rolls. She said a friend was going to bring some to her from Japan (if you can believe it) but they were sold out. She's wondering if 1) there would be a suitable substitute for crescent rolls and if not, 2) if there is a similar recipe that she could use.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!!!
She asked if I coudl make that for tonight. I said I could because I already have the ingredients but when i just checked my chicken in the fridge, the packaging says the best before date was yesterday. my mother-in-law said its just a suggested date and 1 day is not a big deal so i thought I'd ask what you though. Would you use chicken that has gone past its suggested best before date??

I have two open houses this week with other DS companies and for my host this evening, I made the Tangy Pepper Pecan Brie which was a huge hit. The first host bought the ingredients and even bought extra for the host for tomorrow night. (they are friends). But as soon as Thursday nights host saw that the brie used a jalapeno pepper, she said no way. I even tried to convince her to try it tonight to see that it was not too strong tasting but she refuses. So she does have the brie but wants a different brie recipe. I will only have time to quickly stop at the grocery store on my way to her open house so can someone please suggest a really simple, great recipe that uses brie??? TIA

Hi all,
I know you all will be so glad when I'm done helping with this bake sale, I
know, but While I was there, a gentleman (actually a resident) came up
to table and asked me, "oh did YOU bring me anything I can eat and help
this awesome cause??"
I said "well I brought Pumpkin Rolls, Chocolate Zuc. Bread and some cookies". He said, "Oh I bet they all have eggs don't they??"
I said "yes.", well he was sad, as he's allergic and LOVES sweets, but can't find many.

ANYONE out there have bake sale recipes for a person allergic to eggs??

And I also need this for hostess, who's got a child allergic to eggs, but wants a dessert recipe she can make for/with her family.

Thanks for any ideas and suggestions.
