My Dell laptop died a few weeks ago. It had been saying the battery was reaching the end of it's charging life. I let it go as long as it would. I ordered a new battery off of ebay. The battery arrived yesterday and I put it in and started charging it. When I went to bed last night the battery light was on, but when I got up this morning it was off and my computer still will not cut on. Is there anything else I need to do when I replace a battery? Thanks in advance!:p

I assumed my Monday show was not going to hold. The show was booked from a mid-October show. For a variety of reasons she couldn't do the show at her own house, so she was going to check on using her church. I told her that was fine. She asked me to wait to send the host kit to her once she had everything in place.

Then I couldn't get hold of her. Her cell (the only number I had) had no voicemail. She didn't answer my emails. I spoke with the booked-from host. I figured she'd changed her mind.

Nope! She just called. There's been a fair amount of chaos in her life including a broken arm, an arrested foster child, and a stolen car. She's arranged to host the party at a friend's house. She's excited about it.

Yippee! Never assume that just because you can't seem to get hold of someone they have decided to cancel.

I placed a supply order last week (Nov 6), and had ordered 2 each of the Greek Rub and the Jamaican Jerk Rub (because these are what I use most of), and on the website I noticed that my order wasn't shipping, just stayed on received status.
So today I called and was told I can only order one of each type of spice, except that I was allowed the 2 greek rubs, but only 1 of the jerk rub.
Confusing - on the supply order it simply says 4 of each item per season per consultant - it says nothing about not ordering more than 1 at once.

I had also ordered 2 mix-n-chops on supply, and that apparently wasn't allowed either.

I wish these things were explained a little better on the supply order form, or that the computer program simply wouldn't allow you to place an order that's not allowed. Otherwise I would have had my stuff already - it's only being released today and won't get here until next week.

Oh well...

For some of you who have the carry all tote, Simple Additions Tote, padded envelope. First off what is the difference between the carry all tote and the consultant tote? In the Simple additions tote it looked like it would be a good way to carry spices, cookbooks, etc. since I don't have much of the Simple Additions. What are the padded envelopes? They looked like a good way to keep the executive cookware from getting scratched. Any ideas on what works best for you let me know.

I typically take tools we'll be using for recipe, cookbooks, spices, laptop, catalogs. I wouldn't mind taking the Executive Stir Fry Skillet so people could see what great cookware it is but I don't want it to get scratched rubbing up against something else. Right now all I have is the bag that came with the full sized starter kit (not the mini kit). Thanks!
