I am trying desperately to earn the Disney trip. I have 4 unqualified recruits, one that signed in September who has done nothing, one that signed in October that has done about $450, and two that just signed. One of them already has a $250 catalog show to submit and the other one signed yesterday at her party so I gave her the show sales and she got her 4 parties right there.

For me to earn the trip ONE of them has to qualify. If they do I'm down to $9500 more to sell. If they all qualify I'm down to $5500. I have a party tonight, tomorrow, Friday, Saturday and a party next Sunday that already has $1300 in pre-orders.

Help me!! I want to take my daughter to Disney! How can I encourage these girls to get to selling??

She said her whole family are PC addicts! WOOHOO! I am hoping with 2 Recruits, I can start working some incentives for them to do to challenge each other! Any suggestions? I do have an extra Conversion Magnet I have not opened... I do want to continue attending my Hospitality Director's meetings but think having a short meeting with some training with the 3 of us could be fun too! She wants to qualify in 30 days so hopefully she will get a big show from her niece!

Two recruit leads at today's show (yippee!) and one is hesitant because "what if the host's house is icky?" She has been a catalog host and been to shows before, but I don't think she was thinking of anyone's house in particular. I didn't dare tell her any of my horror stories, such as the miniature pony that came into the house and sat on someone's lap in the recliner. Her friends reassured her that she could clean her work area and pointed to my demo area. I just had to have a chuckle b/c it was a new objection for me. Hopefully when I talk to her tomorrow she'll have gotten over the "icky" idea.

Just made this up today, took inspiration from some of the other flyers I found here. The new consultant kit pic is outdated, from 2 seasons ago, no biggie. I printed it out and it is BOLD and BIG!

Hope it gets us lots of leads at our fair tomorrow!

I told her she would make a fab host and that we have consultants who just do catalog show and that there are various ways to make money using the catalog show. My question is do any of you have a recruit or consultant on your team like this and if so what do you do to keep in touch with them and keep them motivated?
She goes to a huge church, has a large supportive family, and her children are very active in all kinds of activities and she still tells me that she can't find anyone who will have shows for her. I think like most people she has the fear of coming across being pushy and may need a little confidence boost. I guess I am super optimisic when it comes to PC; it has been sooooooo awesome in so many ways for me and I know it can be so great for her too! How can I help motivate her to get talking to people about PC. I know she can be SUPER SUCCESSFUL. I just need some tips from some of you awesome recruiters.

Hello all-

I need really good and honest advice here. I have a lady who called me up out of the blue today and asked to join my team. Now I have talked to her previously - but we didn't have anything scheduled today nor did she say she was ready at this time when asked. In short - she's always yelling at someone or something and cursing when we're on the phone together. (Either the kids, her husband, and animal - something.) Today was no different. In the midst of asking questions about the business it sounded like she was in a bar it was so loud, but instead I knew she was with family. Her husband kept yelling at her to get off the phone and when she asked me for info to send her, he'd yell into the phone "No don't send her nuthin'", and other lovely explicatives. To make matter worse, she told me she used to sell Avon and had been forbidden to ever sell it again. She had been short on cash after purchasing a new car and when she was in a rock and hard place, decided to pay for her car payment rather than pay Avon for the orders she had taken. (Avon you don't have to pay the company until AFTER the products arrived and you've collected them from the customer.) So, therefore she was inactivated and told not to sell again. Now, how do I know this? She's TELLING me all of this! I met her once at a booth a few weeks ago! I don't even know this lady!

Now, I've been with PC for 5 years. I take the company seriously, and while I didn't take my BUSINESS seriously at first, I never compromised my integrity or morals. I just was a hobby consultant and was happy. Regardless of my level of commitment to PC - I'd never compromise the company, myself or anyone else. So, in saying that, how do I handle this lead? She's ready to sign up soon and wants to start before the holidays. Generally I'd be very excited, but I'm quite cautioned with her. I emailed her to give her the information she requested (regardless of what her husband was saying) and told her a bit out the PC history. I explained we are a professional company with professional consultants. I truly believe that PC is that. There are many men and women who take their businesses and the company as a whole very seriously, and that is one of the things I love about PC.

I don't know if it's my place to decline her interest, but I don't know if I'd be hurting the company or misrepresenting what they are about if I DID sign her. I'm not being pretentious here, just cautioned on how to handle this situation. I don't want my consultant status put into any kind of jeopardy. Normally I'd consult my director about this, and I intend to do once she returns from her vacation. I did run it my DH to get his opinion, and he suggested that I just pray about how to handle it. I do agree with that! I need guidance, that's for sure! But, I also wanted to get the opinions of other consultants and thought this would be the best place to get that.

Thank you for your time!

Okay, so my question is, would you suggest to her to just get the mini-kit to start back up, or go with the full kit & get all new products? Are the products that she would've received in her kit back then the same as what is offered now? I havn't been able to get in contact with the possible recruit yet, but she will be at the show tomorrow, so I'm looking for some of the lovely advice that I've received her before from my fellow cheffers:):):)

Recruit #2 had just hit her 30 day mark & does not have recruiting stuff yet, so I stepped in & took care of it. The host decided to sign. I asked her to sign under Recruit #2 (still in her first 90 days), giving R#2 a little bonus for stepping in & taking the show at the last minute

R#3 will submit the show from last week as her first one and I've also given her my show from this Fri night because the host is a close friend of R#3. If her friend does as good as she did, she'll qualify before her new consultant kit even makes it here to Japan! And she already has 2 friends wanting to host in Jan & Feb, so she's looking for December shows right now. Not bad for a brand new recruit who has a full time job & this is just a hobby for her. :D

Directorship, here I come!!! ;)
