Hi,
I'm getting ready to close my first show, but I need help with the host order. When I start entering items that my host wants, it immediatly does the first 4 items as half price, and then the next items just come up regular price. She is supposed to get $225 in free merchandise. How do I do that? I need to look again at the program, but haven't seen anything yet.
Thanks for your help.
Moe

you need to check mark the items you want half price, when you enter them, it's to the right of the item,
and the free $ amount shows up under items ordered list. you just put in the items she wants and it automaticly deducts the free amount from the amount due.

Not to HIJACK..BUT..I just wanted to say..so..if it is doing the first 4 items at half price..that means that she earned 4..that means that you had over a $1000 for your first show...CONGRATS!!

That is super great. I bet you got qualified on first show. WOW!!!!!!

if you haven't update your PP since Dec you need to so that the new codes are in your computer.

Is it a catalog show or Cooking Show?

Yes, do a backup & also check your dates! Make sure that the year is 2011 and not 2010. It must show Jan 2011 dates, not 2010 and not Feb. ;)

got it! thanks so much for the help...it was still in 2010! hahaha

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a host order and why is it important for my first show?

A host order is a collection of products that your host selects to earn rewards for hosting a Pampered Chef show. It's important because it allows the host to receive discounts and free products based on the sales generated during the show, which can motivate them to invite more guests and promote the event effectively.

How can I help my host choose the right products for their order?

Encourage your host to consider their personal cooking needs and preferences. Discuss popular items that are frequently purchased by guests, and suggest products that complement each other. You can also provide a list of best-sellers or seasonal items to help guide their choices.

What are some tips for maximizing the host's rewards?

To maximize rewards, encourage the host to invite as many guests as possible, as the total sales will determine their rewards. Suggest they offer incentives for guests to place orders, such as a raffle or a special discount on their next purchase. Additionally, remind them to take advantage of any current promotions or specials offered by Pampered Chef.

How can I ensure that my host feels supported throughout the process?

Maintain open communication with your host by checking in regularly and providing them with resources, such as a host guide or promotional materials. Offer to help them with invitations and follow-ups, and be available to answer any questions they may have. This support will help them feel confident and excited about their show.

What should I do if my host is unsure about their product selections?

If your host is unsure, schedule a brainstorming session to discuss their cooking habits and preferences. Offer suggestions based on their lifestyle, and remind them that they can always adjust their selections later. Providing them with a sample catalog or hosting a product demonstration can also help them visualize the options available.
