I don't know if I will receive one or not since I only recieved $400in commision plus the ss1 kit. I thought I reemembered seeing somewhere that the 1099 is for if you made $600 or more (I thin it was turbo tax) anyone know?

Yep, it's for only $600 or more. The ss1 kit counts too! You can find it online at CC. It will tell you there if you are getting one mailed to you or not.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a 1099 form and why would I receive one?

A 1099 form is a tax document used to report income received from sources other than your regular employment. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year from your direct sales activities with Pampered Chef, you will receive a 1099 form to report that income to the IRS.

How do I know if I made enough to receive a 1099?

You will receive a 1099 form if your total earnings from Pampered Chef reach $600 or more within a calendar year. This includes commissions, bonuses, and any other income derived from your sales activities.

What if I made less than $600 in a year?

If you earned less than $600 in a year, you will not receive a 1099 form. However, you are still required to report any income earned on your tax return, even if it is below the $600 threshold.

When will I receive my 1099 form?

Typically, Pampered Chef will send out 1099 forms by January 31st of the following year. Make sure to check your email and your Pampered Chef account for any notifications regarding your 1099 form.

What should I do if I think I should have received a 1099 but didn't?

If you believe you should have received a 1099 form but did not, first check your earnings to confirm they meet the $600 threshold. If they do, contact Pampered Chef's support team for assistance in obtaining your 1099 form.
