Got mine today and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!:love: Its a great size and it is so cute!!! I thought the info said that it had a zipper across the top though. Mine doesn't have one but oh well! I'm still excited and happy I got it! I can't wait to go pick DD up from school and go to our girl scout meeting! :D

I submitted my two shows on the 3rd. I did pre order on the HWC items and then split them up into two shows. I had a few outside orders too. So it took less than two weeks.

The ladies just called their final orders into me, and one is taking some extra time to pick her free products...fine by me, she said she'll call me tonight to finalize it. Yay! I'm getting it submitted in plenty of time...good thing, too, because I have Relay For Life Saturday and Sunday and starting tomorrow will basically be running non-stop to get everything organized and ready! :) Told DH about the bag a few minutes ago and he just rolled his eyes. He doesn't understand that totes and bags and everything else are fun ways to accessorize. Maybe I'll cut back on some of my non-PC bags just to show him I can do without ALL of them (of course, I'll tuck bags inside of bags and stick them in our suitcase that sits in the closet empty...he'll never know...hee hee hee...). :)

I'm submitting a show tonight or tomorrow and I have a HWC fundraiser catalog show (that I'm hosting) open and have sent out TONS of e-mails but only have like...$75 in sales! :( No one was even remotely interested in the HWC campaign! My grandma's the only one who bought any of the pink products and even my close friends who lost their mom to breast cancer in January and have expressed interest in hosting a show haven't responded to me about holding a fundraiser show this month...

Woohoo, by a hair I finally got my two shows in. One's been a catalog show going for 3 weeks now (but changed to May specials - her choice) and the other was 2 weeks and I FINALLY got the orders in today! Woohoo! Plus another set of daisy plates because the one host only wanted the guest specials not the host special so offered it to me. I already have the stand and 4 plates so I added 4 more.

Whew, that was TOO close for comfort! ;)

Go in like you are doing an online adjustment and that you don't know the show number. There will be a number that is your consultant number followed by G and then three digits 12345G018. Take this number into Fedex.com and put it in as a reference number followed by 01.

I have to admit that the tote is waaaay nicer than I expected! It's very sturdy and wow....the pockets!!! I'm thinking this would be a very cute diaper bag if someone needed one. I actually used it for my daughter's softball tournaments this past weekend. No bites from anyone, but at least I had it with me.

It's similar in that it's padded and has several pockets inside. But it's smaller. My dots binder fits in it vertically, with some other purse stuff thrown in. The cranberry tote holds a LOT more. This one's actually a great size to use as a purse that can hold catalogs or a full-size calendar.

I imagine they try to cut the numbers fairly close so they don't have oodles of leftovers. They also usually overestimate the backorder time. I will surprise me if it takes more than a couple of weeks to get HWC bags to most of us.

I'm such a bag lady and fought to get a show in on time to get this one:( I was at NDA last weekend and a couple of the ladies already had theirs. They are gorgeous and have tons of pockets inside. I agree, a HWC product or something would have been more of a "thank you". When Merrill had the old Ribbon Totes and everyone was having trouble with the zippers and lining, they sent out new ones and a key finder as an extra "thank you".

Ok, I'm going to say something that most likely won't be popular but I was thinking this morning about most of my customers who have ordered the Pineapple Wedger and it has been on backorder. I have not given them a gift for waiting and they didn't earn this product for free as an extra bonus, they paid for it. Not one of them has complained so I am trying to look at it from their perspective. There have been several different items that have been on backorder since I began with PC and I've never compensated any of those people. If you know me at all, and I'm not on here too much any more, you know I am not throwing darts here... just sharing the thoughts about this that God has brought to me this morning as I try to realign my own attitiude. I know that HO has to be very sad that they ran out of the bags and very proud of each of us for working our businesses. They show time and time again that they care very much about us. I know they have to feel just as bad as I do when something goes wrong with one of my guests orders. I hope, as Rae said, that the time is much shorter than predicted.

It would be nice if they would offer something similiar in the future, even for purchase for those who did not qualify or those who were not with PC at the time of the incentive. I have seen the bags and think they are spectacular - awesome that they are in black (goes with everything unlike cranberry stripes) and doesn't show much dirt. Great space, organization (pockets) and soooo Vera Bradley. :)

Why is it that someone works hard enough to earn the incentives and then turns around and sells them on eBay? I think this is so very tacky and they should lose their PC business. I figure it is the same person over and over with just changing their "name" on there.

There was a version that held a catalog that was the tote for conference 2004. There hasn't been a catalog conference tote since then.

2005: "flap" bag (like a messenger bag) with B/W pictures of current and historic products
2006: cream and black flap bag
2007: black nylon with zip across top
2008: black canvas with camel vinyl trim

I looked at the picture real close and it almost looks like a combination of the current catalog tote on supply, and last year's conference tote. The handles seem to be the same sturdy material as the conference bag's from last year (but black).
I love the look of this bag, I haven't been using the current tote bag, but think I will get more use out of this year's.
I'm not quite sure what to think about knowing what it looks like beforehand. Part of me loves it, but part of me enjoys the surprise of finding out what it looks like at registration.

Got mine today---Does yours have an open seam in the bottom:confused:---meaning the edge is finished in the bottom on the left, but has a small gap between the seam that goes to the egde of the side--so I can see the cardboard support a little. Would you complain? Honestly, it was free & who knows how long a replacement would take, and it's still usuable....

Mine doesn't have that. It sounds like it's not properly made. It wasn't free. It was an earned item you will pay tax on. Contact the HO.

Got mine Friday!!!! SO excited, unpacked my other bag and packed it all into the new bag. Dh was lessed than thrilled when I was standing in front of the TV showing off my new purse. LOL I called on Wed and they said they were filling orders and I should get mine soon, but didn't say it was shipped. But like other posters said I live close to Chicago and get my stuff within a day or two of shipping. Hope the rest of you get yours soon, too.

Yippeeeeeeeee! I FINALLY got my tote today. I had been telling myself that it was sure to come before the 4th of July :)

It is open on the bottom but looking at it, as long as the seam is finished- it is supposed to be that way. The tote is washable and I don't think any of us want cardboard in our machines. This way we can turn the tote wrong side out and remove the cardboard before washing.

PC did AWESOME on this tote! I think it is one of the best things I have earned just in design and usability. I can't wait to bring it out and about!

DS has told me twice today what a pretty new purse I have. DH said he liked it too - he was glad I finally had pockets to organize! (he hated rooting through my catalog tote looking for the checkbook, car keys, etc....)

I think for DH, it's nice because I didn't have to spend money for it!:D:p

Mine DH won't venture into mine either. He'll bring it to me to find what it is that he needs....or just ask for what he needs. Too funny.

I earned that bag right about 5/13 and wasn't too disappointed when I didn't get it right away 'cause I didn't think I would like it. Boy was I wrong! I love it and am really excited to carry it instead of my catalog tote. It's an eye catcher for sure!

Is anyone else REALLY hoping the new conference (only) catalog tote will be designed like this one? I love my pockets! Even DH said it was nice except for the fact it looked more winter.

That's my hope. They are really good at listening to our suggestions and wishes. I'm sure enough of us have talked about the need for inside pockets that there's good chance this one might have them. :)

I love this bag!!!! I'm going to stitch the handles down with black so that they don't flap outward and I'm also going to sew on a pink gross grain ribbon in a loop and put on a buttom to hook it shut. Then, in the small opening left underneath the handles, I can thread the white ribbon with PC on it from a gift at leadership and still have my ribbon on my bag. I love it! The pockets inside are the BEST! Yahoo!

I didn't get mine until this week (moved and though PC has new address, they mailed to the old). Anyway, I love it! It is so much better than the catalog tote. I love the interior pockets. It was like it was made for the mini catalogs, and wedding brochures. We'll see how this one does for business. Sorry, not willing to give this one up.
