Team flow chart

My director is wanting me to develop a team flow chart to use at meetings. She wants something creative to show each team member and their down lines. Would be posted on the wall for all to see and watch the teams grow.

Maybe 5X7 cards connected by yarn on a pegboard? Can you picture it? It would look similar to the demo on the slideshow on consultants corner.
