Yes. My dad paid me $2 an hour and I did it for 12 hours. I was disking and listen to the radio. At one point I wasn't paying attention and the disk wasn't down in the ground enough. My dad came and turned off the radio because he thought I wasn't paying attention because of the radio. Whatever! I turned it right back on when he got out. He told me later that he knew I'd do that.

Unfortunately, yes! When I was in high school and my first couple weeks of college I was totally into drinking for fun. Getting drunk was the point. I pray I stay in touch with my kids better than my parents did with me. They were naive.

Yes. For quite a few summers in a row, about 5, I detassled corn. Awful, yucky, dirty nasty job. I know there are worse jobs, but that is pretty bad.

No, never. But, when I was around 4 or 5 I saw pigs' tails being cut off. I couldn't believe it. One after another after another. I don't think I was traumatized, but I remember thinking about how that must hurt.

Yes! I knocked and walked right inside. At first I thought the strangers were neighbors, early for the show. Not so! I apologized and walked right back out. I must have been in a really strange mood because I was totally not that embarrassed. I sort of laughed it off, and went on with my night. The people were smiling and not speaking very good English. It was weird.

I had been to this girl's house once before and didn't realize I was supposed to turn the street before. She was on the corner and I didn't look at the street sign. I felt silly.

Yes - It's hard for me to even remember, but for about 3 months, while a college student, I was a Jafra Representative.:eek:

I realize now it was something she did regularly, but I was in a store, looking at moisturizers w/ my mom, and discussing them, and a lady popped her head around the corner and said "Excuse me, I couldn't help but overhearing...." and the rest is history. :)

Yes we have a picture of a stick person that we got off of clip art. We print out different things like a blue shirt (there are always blue shirts somewhere, two sneakers (she has to find a sneaker at 2 different stores). You can get as detailed as you want. The person can wear sunglasses, a hat, a scarf whatever you want. Also for ours the person (once dressed) has to find a bench to sit on, a fountain to throw a coin into, and a place that sells pretzels. I can email you the file if you want...

hahahaha my last BF mother was the worst cook on the planet! She lived in her house for over 3 years and had not once turned on the oven! She burned everything she cooked on the stovetop and drenched everything in oil and garlic. The final straw for me was seeing cat food in the toaster oven and realizing the cat litter box was in the dining room. I used to go over and say I had eaten when I hadn't because I couldn't even drink a glass of water over there anymore!

Yes. I told my dh over the phone(he went home to watch our oldest son at the time) that we would loose our daughter, I was 19wks 1 day pregnant with her and was laboring in the hospital at the time. He was with me for several hours but had to go home when they transported me to a bigger hosptial. It was the saddest day of my entire life.

I did that they other day! Actually, the street I was on turned into a one-way and I missed the sign - thankfully there was no-one else on it at the time.

Yes, especially when I was little. We bottle feed a fawn that had gotten caught up in a tractor and syringe feed a dog that had heart worms. And I have fed a calf by bottle and puppies.

My one and only time when I was 19 - traveling from U of I to Western University with a friend to visit her boyfriend. We had borrowed a friend's car and it liked to pull to the left. It was country roads and I was going about 85. Got pulled over by a woman police officer who gave me a $50 ticket -luckily my girlfriend split the cost with me and I haven't gotten a ticket since. We thought about offering her some donuts we had just bought but decided against it:)

I have to be vigilant and force myself to have a Carnation Instant Breakfast Drink in the morning if I know I am going to have a busy day...I'm already tiny so it's not safe for me to lose too much weight.
