How does everyone host coach for a catalog show? I'm finding that I don't know what to say, its not like I am trying to increase guest numbers. I gave my host some catalogs, order forms, directions on how to do a show, and the 40 in 4 list.
Any other suggestions? Do you need to follow up as much with a catalog show? I don't want to be a pest.
Thank you,
Barbara

I tiry to host coach catalog shows as much as my cooking shows, and when I do, the totals are significantly higher than when I do not. I mainly check in once a week while the show is going on- (I usually close out within 2 weeks) to find out how sales are going, and if she has come up against a question she did not have an answer for. Even though you are not trying to build attendance, the hostess knows she is not in it alone, and that you are taking her catalog show seriously. Catalog shows have greatly increased my monthly sales the last couple months,a dn I think the coaching may be a reason why.

I remind my catalog hosts that it's important to let everyone know they are having a catalog party. They shouldn't discriminate--many men love our products. Those who don't usually have people in their lives who do. Frequent contact is important. Do a search here for catalog host coaching. You'll find lots of good ideas for postcards and such to use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Catalog Show and how does it work?

A Catalog Show is a type of Pampered Chef party where guests can browse a catalog and place orders without needing to attend a live event. The host collects orders from friends and family, showcasing products through the catalog, and submits the total orders to earn rewards based on the sales volume.

How can I help my host promote their Catalog Show effectively?

Encourage your host to share their Catalog Show on social media, send personalized invitations via email or text, and create a sense of urgency by setting a deadline for orders. Providing them with sample posts, images, and product highlights can also boost engagement and interest.

What tools and resources should I provide to my host?

Provide your host with a digital catalog, order forms, and product samples if possible. Additionally, share tips on how to showcase products, host a virtual party, or create a Facebook event to engage potential customers. Offering a checklist for the host can also help them stay organized.

How can I assist my host in following up with guests?

Teach your host the importance of follow-up by encouraging them to reach out to guests after sending the catalog. They can send reminders about the order deadline, answer any questions, and share their excitement about the products. Providing a follow-up script can make this process easier.

What are some common challenges hosts face with Catalog Shows, and how can I help?

Common challenges include low engagement and difficulty in collecting orders. To help, suggest strategies for increasing excitement, such as offering incentives for orders or running a small giveaway. Remind them to keep communication open and to be enthusiastic about the products to motivate their guests.
