Which Cheffers Did You Meet At NC?

I'd love to know who you met at conference. I met many Cheffers, and it was so fun to see faces. I gave out my business card to non-cheffers with chefsuccess.com on the back as my tip. I bragged about how great everyone is on here.

I may leave someone out because I have bad memory. So feel free to correct me if you know I met you.

I met GeekGirl69 because she was my roomy! I met Red Sox on the bus on day two on the way back to the hotel after the last workshop of the day. At the Meet and Greet I met lots of people. I'll try to get it right by the business cards that were shared.

Ginger, I loved listening to you. I will never forget you. You made me laugh with your animation. I bet your shows rock! I met susanr613 on the elevator on the way to the meet and greet. I met quiverfull, Janetupnorth, di_can_cook, amy07, Kathy's Kitchen, Chef Bobby (wish I had taken a couple ear plugs:)), krzymomof4 (she isn't that crazy), Di Can Cook, RaeBates (love the flip flops in person), and probably others. I know I met more of you, but I'm sort of mostly going by the business cards I received.

Let me know if I met you and didn't put you here. Actually, I know there are quite a few more, and I'm sorry for leaving you out. (Amy07 and BeckyD's roommate for one.)

Yes! I put you in the list. I met you in the elevator. That cute little boy introduced himself after we were introducing ourselves. Then he asked us if we were chefs. We laughed and said "well...yes." Then we laughed. That was funny. I recognized you right away because you use your picture as your avatar.

Ours was to the music of "I love Rock n Roll" but ours was titled "We love Pampered Chef".

Like Janet said, it was at our Exec. Banquet - we had an American Idol competition between the tables. At first I thought it was going to be hokie - but it ended up being hilarious. We laughed so much!

It was fun too watching our Exec. Director - Yvonne Mattson. She stood in the back of the room taking pictures of all the groups singing, and of the "judges"....and you could just tell she loves us! She was just beaming and shaking her head and laughing....

Even though my reason for not going was my 2mo old beautiful baby boy :) I was "not right" the last 3 days, I kept looking at the clock trying to figure out what was going on at conference now? LOL

I went to the MNG and walked around looking for cheffers pins and didn't see any so I left. I admit I was late because I was eating dinner at the Irish place there, which was soooooooo very slow LOL But I decided to leave, instead of waiting when I didn't see anyone, because I had lost my cell phone on the way to MNG so was to stressed to enjoy myself at that point anyways LOL BTW...I did get my cell phone back. Had left it in taxi on way to the Hilton. When I got back to the Palmer I called it and the taxi driver answered and returned it to me :) But I did meet Di_Can_Cook at Breakfast which was awesome :)

It was good meeting you too. I also met and talked to a few guys that were consultants. I was suprised Friday night when I went to the same lounge as the M&G was and sat at the bar. A lady in pajamas asked me if I was from PC. She was part of a group that did their Executive Banquet as a pajama party. I took a group picture with some of them for the guys at work that don't believe my stories of thousands of females at conference. LOL
Were there any cheffers in that group? I had pj's but not any that I would go out in public with.

It was so funny how you would introduce yourself, and get these blank looks from everyone until you said "I'm Crazy Mom"...and then everyone would say "OOOOHHHH! I know who you are!" LOL

I'll take the time to download pictures in the next day or two. I didn't get tons, though. The lighting was a bit funky.

The pizza was great! I highly recommend Giordano's. (My roommates and I had walked down to a steakhouse for dinner. Not wanting to spend $42 for a steak, we headed back the other direction with the intention of going to one of the cafes north of the Hilton. The rain that started as we approached the hotel didn't bother us. We had umbrellas. The lightening that started as we got about 1/2 block past the hotel, however, did. We went back to the room and ordered for delivery. Delicious!)

You're welcome! I had extra sweet room mates. I know I snore, but never heard any complaints. I slept too hard each night to know if anyone else did.
