Last year the lines were long for the bathrooms between classes. Making all of the mens bathrooms into ladies bathrooms didn't help. When you get to the door, you still have to wait until all the ladies are out and get the next person to watch the door.

And, if you're in a restroom and a voice yells in, "Anyone in here?" Answer. Some poor guy got trapped in a stall by hordes of women using the men's room last year. Don't let that happen to you.

On the converse: Women, don't commandeer a men's room that has been left a men's room. There may only be a few, but there ARE men at conference. And they need to respond to the call of nature, too.

I found a couple of bathrooms that no-one seems to know about. Well, maybe only a few people!

Not sure if this is the right directions since I'm not there to see it. But, do you know where the vending machines are at McCormick? (the ones that are always out of diet coke and water! :( ) There's a down escalator near them. I have only seen one or two people in that bathroom everytime I've been.

I am sticking by Linda :) I have the bladder the size of a pea. At mini regional several of us used the mens room ( only 1 guy was in the group)since the lines were so long, most of the other woman wouldn't do it, but I had to pee so bad, I did :)

Well, let me just say that a fellow clustermate was supposedly watching the door while I was in the men's room. I came out to a man using the urinal! I was so mortified. I am sure he wasn't expecting to see a woman come out of the stall. LOL. So yes, gents, be aware! Women get desperate!

Yeah, I'll look before I leap from now on - LOL
I thought of you yesterday when I was in a public potty. I miss the automatic-no-touch sinks and soap dispensers we had in DC. Here in FL I have to TOUCH things to make them go on - blech!:yuck:

Well, since women use the men's room and things can happen accidentally...man using the urinal while lady is in the stall...it would be nice if the men would use the stalls and not the urinals. I know its a pain for them because we take over most of their bathrooms, but it would sure save embarrassment on both parties if they would use the stalls. While it is a little creepy to be in the bathroom with men, nobody can see you behind the stall door...unless they are peeking, lol.

I feel sorry for the guys at conference. There are a lot of women standing in line to go to the bathroom.

If I was a female, I wouldn't want the guys in the stalls unless they had to sit down.

I'm sorry but as a guy, that's just silly. I'll use the urinals in the bathroom marked for men with no problem. If a woman chooses to commandeer it, then she should know she might see a hoohoodilly, and get over it.

It's fine that most of the men's bathrooms are converted, because the population dictates that. The one(s) that is(are) left should be respected. If I as a man went and barged into the restroom designated as ladies, how would people react to that?

I agree with Keith on this one. As more men start attending conference, we have to respect their right to privacy. Never heard it called a "hoohoodilly" though :blushing:

I agree with you, Keith - no one should expect the men to change their ways just because there are more women at Conf. than men. Men are the minority at Conf. and need to have their rights respected just like all minorities in this country (and world!). To disrespect each other's rights is just not RIGHT! ;)

That is either a very desperate attempt to silence the call of nature or a very bad porno movie.

I love that word! That's my new word--- hoohoodilly! I burst out laughing when I read that!

I do agree- if a guy walked into one of our bathrooms we'd be like "Hey you flippin pervert...use your own bathroom" ;)

Here's to no bathrooom issues and that no man has his hoohoodilly looked upon by an unsuspecting lady!

too funny......chuckle...snort!

Some of the women at our regional conference comandeered the men's room.

I personally would not do that unless it were a "family restroom." At work, since they are one person facilities, I've always said that the sign on the door means nothing.

Shawnna
07-01-2008, 12:43 AM
Actually I was talking about the bathrooms that are changed from mens to womens. Men still use them. If the sign has been changed to women then it would be nice for them to use the stalls...if the sign is not chanaged we should not use them...they don't leave many for the men as it is. I was not suggesting women just take over the bathroom and expect men to change...but the men's rooms are "changed" to women's rooms by the conference people, we have no control over that. I don't mind sharing bathrooms because I know its hard to have room for everyone. We should respect the men and not try to use the few bathrooms they leave for them.

Last year I was acting as "bathroom police" standing at the door letting everyone know who was inside. It worked out pretty good. I felt sorry for the ladies in the long lines and the guys trying to use their own bathroom.
