View Full Version : Anyone else having problems with CS loading slowly?

I'm getting so frustrated (although it's probably just a sign that I need to get off the computer). Since last night, I've been having a terrible time with pages here loading. They sit forever, and still don't finish loading the entire thread. It's not my internet connection, because other pages come up fine. I've restarted the computer, cleared the cache in my browser, and even switched browsers, and it's still doing it.
Anyone else having this problem? Was there a hardware change implemented recently at the host? Forum software update? Anything?

I thought it was just me...I tried many of the same things (clearing cache, switched browsers) with no luck...finally, I got lucky~!

I submitted this thread, clicked on "New posts" on the home page, and it took 6 minutes for the list of threads with new posts to come up.

Yeah, I've been having the same problems since last night. Finally last night I just got off the computer and hoped it would be fixed by today...I was wrong! LOL I can go to any other site just fine. It's just this one.

I was just going to post that - it seems to have corrected itself in the last 10 minutes or so.

You may have been posting when we were doing a backup. Backups are very server intensive, but only last about 30min a day.

Ann - I've had it periodically at different times over the last 3-4 days. Usually about 9 at night or so I see it and sometimes in the afternoon.
Even on a bonded T-1 line I was noticing it.
We'll have to ask Greg what is going on, on his end.

Well, there he is. :)
When are back-ups or other intense processes occurring?

Thanks, Greg! I thought it was something like that, but I was having the problem last night (after 7pm EDT) and again this morning (from 6am-11am EDT). It seemed a little long to be for a backup.

Nope Ann, you are not alone! Except I wasn't able to pull up CS at all from last night till now except on my cell phone.

I had problems with CS and DCS all last night. Now it seems fine.
