Recruiting When Inactive: Guidelines and Policies

In summary, recruiting when inactive is the process of reaching out to individuals who are not actively seeking employment. This approach allows companies to tap into a larger pool of talent and potentially find qualified candidates. Ways to recruit when inactive include networking, using social media, and partnering with recruitment agencies. The benefits of this approach include accessing a wider pool of talent, reducing recruitment costs, and potentially hiring more committed employees. However, challenges may include identifying and convincing candidates who are not actively looking for jobs and a longer recruitment process.

If someone is inactive, can they sign a recruit? I looked thru the policies and couldn't find a clarification. I'm assuming that the sign-on system will recognize any consultant number that hasn't been inactive for a year? Would the inactive consultant receive the credit? Anyone know for sure?

Thanks.

The recruit will pass up to their recruiter. This happened to someone one of my recruits recruited.edit:
um... that looks confusing. Let me clarify.
Ann has a recruit, Becky. Becky is currently inactive, but while inactive, she signs Cathy. Cathy immediately passes up to Ann. Nobody gets recruiting points when Cathy qualifies because Cathy is no longer under the person who actually recruited her.

1. What is recruiting when inactive?

Recruiting when inactive refers to the process of reaching out to individuals who are not currently seeking employment or are not actively engaged in the job market. This approach is used by recruiters to source and attract potential candidates who may not be actively looking for job opportunities.

2. Why is recruiting when inactive important?

Recruiting when inactive is important because it allows companies to tap into a larger pool of talent and potentially find qualified candidates who may not be actively seeking employment. It can also help companies to fill positions quicker and reduce the cost of recruitment.

3. How do you recruit when inactive?

There are several ways to recruit when inactive, such as networking through industry events and conferences, utilizing social media platforms to connect with passive candidates, and creating targeted job postings on job boards. Additionally, you can partner with recruitment agencies or use employee referrals to reach potential candidates.

4. What are the benefits of recruiting when inactive?

Some of the benefits of recruiting when inactive include accessing a wider pool of talent, finding candidates with specialized skills and experience, reducing the time and cost of recruitment, and potentially hiring more engaged and committed employees. It also allows companies to build relationships with potential candidates for future job openings.

5. What are some challenges of recruiting when inactive?

One of the main challenges of recruiting when inactive is identifying and reaching out to potential candidates who may not be actively looking for job opportunities. This approach also requires a longer recruitment process as candidates may need more time to consider a job offer. Additionally, companies may face challenges in convincing passive candidates to leave their current jobs for a new opportunity.
