I'm re-wording from my last thread. Ok, I haven't uninstalled my program on my home computer. Dh backed it up and emailed me the ppplus DAT file that saves everytime you back up the program. I opened up the program on my parent's computer. When it asks to import a file, what am I supposed to be importing because it won't let me import the dat. file that dh emailed me?

Or could you give me step by step directions on how to install all the info from my program at home (shows, contacts, etc) onto this computer without losing them on that computer? I'll be working on this computer for a few months, but I hate to practically start over on a new computer. Would be nice if I could import all the other data.
 
I transfer between my lapton and desk top all the time. What I do is back up on a memory stick (or some type of portable memory) then open the program on the other system and at the top there is an icon that says "Restore", it is the second from the right on the very top of the screen. Then just check that you are restoring from the correct drive and it should update the program with the correct info. it will tell you that it is going to overwrite all currect data, do it anyway. HTH

YAY!! It worked. It was the initial place where they want you to bring in a file when putting the program on your computer that had me all confused. The restore part worked. Thanks!
