Okay... HELP! I am doing my first Bridal SHower the day after I get home from conference. I had emailed the host (again) to ask for the bride's wish list and tonight I got an email that she had signed up for a Wedding Registry! SO ... I know I can mesh these together... however I don't even know where to find it on my PWS. I know.. I'm pitiful ... HELP!

Go through Consultant's Corner, not your PWS, and click on the tab "Managing your Business", then select "Wedding Registry" at the bottom. There it will list all of the active registries you have. Just click on the one you need, and you can see everything.

Unfortunately, you can't really "mesh" the registry and a shower, though. The sales from the shower are separate and have different host benefits than the registry benefits. But, it's a great way to get the word out about the registry for the wedding. Just list all the items on her registry for the shower, then go back to the registry after the shower and put a "1" (or however many she got) next to the ones that were ordered at the shower (under the "purchased outside registry" heading). That way, she won't get doubles.

Hope that helps - good luck and let us know how it goes!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I include on my wedding registry for my bridal shower?

When creating your wedding registry, consider including a mix of essential kitchen items, cookware, bakeware, and serving pieces. Think about your cooking habits and lifestyle; items like quality knives, mixing bowls, and small appliances can be great additions. Don't forget to add some fun items like unique serving platters or specialty tools from Pampered Chef that reflect your personal style.

How do I communicate my wedding registry to guests?

It's best to share your wedding registry information through your wedding website, invitations, or bridal shower announcements. You can also mention it in casual conversations with friends and family. Make sure to provide the names of the stores or websites where your registry is located, so guests can easily find it.

What if I receive duplicate gifts from my registry?

Receiving duplicate gifts is common, so it's a good idea to register at multiple stores or include a variety of items. Most retailers offer easy return or exchange policies, allowing you to return duplicates for store credit or exchange them for something else you need. Be sure to keep track of your gifts and their receipts to make the process smoother.

How can I personalize my wedding registry?

To personalize your wedding registry, consider adding items that reflect your hobbies, interests, and lifestyle. For example, if you love baking, include specialty bakeware or unique kitchen gadgets from Pampered Chef. You can also add items that hold sentimental value, such as family heirlooms or pieces that match your home decor style.

What are some tips for navigating the bridal shower gift-giving process?

To navigate the gift-giving process smoothly, create a clear and organized registry that guests can easily access. Be gracious and thankful for all gifts, regardless of whether they were on your registry. Consider sending thank-you notes promptly after receiving gifts, and if possible, share how you plan to use each item. This personal touch can make your guests feel appreciated and valued.
