Does anyone have anything they would use to attract teachers, to get them started this summer while they are out of school?

This was something we talked about at my cluster meeting this past Saturday.

I have found a teacher willing to spread the word and distribute the flyers in mailboxes.

I am thinking I could set something up in the teacher's lounge but I am not sure what to say or what to set up and leave for a day or two. I would not want anything to "walk" away.

Anyway I am just thinking....
Any thoughts, suggestions, input?
Thanks.

What about putting a "thank you" treat in the teacher's lounge as an end of the year thing... you could also leave info on the biz and on doing shows. If you have an in with a teacher could you get her to do a show and then really gear the show towards recruiting?

As a fellow teacher, I can definitely understand the struggle of finding ways to attract teachers during their summer break. One idea that comes to mind is creating a summer professional development series specifically tailored to teachers. This could include topics such as incorporating technology in the classroom, implementing new teaching strategies, or even self-care and wellness workshops. By offering relevant and valuable professional development opportunities, you can entice teachers to use their free time during the summer to improve their skills and knowledge.Another idea could be to partner with local businesses to offer discounts or special deals for teachers during the summer. This could include discounts on school supplies, teacher resources, or even leisure activities like movie tickets or spa services. By showing appreciation for teachers and their hard work, you can attract them to your program or event. In terms of setting up something in the teacher's lounge, perhaps you could create a mini expo or fair with different booths or stations featuring different resources and opportunities for teachers. This could include information about your program, as well as other professional development opportunities, resources for the upcoming school year, and even fun activities or giveaways.Lastly, don't underestimate the power of word-of-mouth marketing. Encourage the teacher you have found to spread the word to their colleagues and networks. You could also consider creating a referral program where teachers can earn rewards or discounts for bringing in new participants to your program.Overall, the key is to offer something of value to teachers during their summer break and make it easily accessible and known to them. Good luck!
